There can't be another Firefly without the main elements. Wash and Zoe's unknowns, pitfalls of family; book's past, The Blue-handed men after River and River's loopy quirks; Simon plotting ways to get more research done; even the Alliance is busted some. All that remains is a new family and Mal's dream and commitment. Gorram that movie's changes, and praise Serenity as a first in history. Firefly needs to rise up and ride again. Just wishes on how.
