Easy friend, just remove the sparks plugs put in each cylinder at least 6oz of 2cycle oil racing preferred. Remove the small battery and use your car, now read carefully with the parks remove hit the start bottom in intervals don't let the red bottom on like starting normal just intervals of seconds in that way the internals bearings will come loose with no problem. Just easy as that after it makes completes cycles you are goo to put everything back together and yes oil will be all over prepare.
hey mate, how did you go? Did you find out what was wrong? A similar thing happened to me a few days ago and instead of rope, my wear ring cracked and jammed the impeller. Was it the engine or just the starter?
hey i have a1999 kawasaki 1100 stx that was doing the same thing clicking, i change the stater and it dont click no more but it still dont start, i it does is sound like the stater is turning over not the motor what could that be help guys.
make sure all conections betwean the battery and starter are clean and tight it only takes one bad coroded conection to not flow current to the starter (disconect battery first when doing so) make sure starter relay is passing current to the starter when it clicks as it may be bad internaly and not passing current, if power is getting to the starter and it wont crank after checking the other posabilitys , it will have to be repaired or replased.
the click is your solenoid, you need a new starter. My grandfather had the same problem with his Rinker 180 (MerCruiser 3.0). BTW he also has the same ski and it flies.
Find your starter it will most likely be full of water if so clear it out and what not, if not get a new starter i legit had the exact same problem about 5 days ago
did u figure it out? i have the same problem w my kawasaki. please help. im guess the starter is locked up. which looks like a nightmare. what fixed it?
Its your starter motor, I have the exact same ski with the same problem, water attacks the motor. Just make sure your battery connections are on properly, but im 90% sure its your starter motor..
Very important to fill out the fly wheel with grease (white marine) until the boot expand a bit. If you prefered remove the batery and jump the seadoo with your car batery unmount from your car, do not jump it with your car motor running. tha is a NO NO.
Dude, first remove the pump, then the shaft. Now check the impeler bearing for play it should not play to the sides, rops and seadoos bad combination it happens to me and you have to check the shaft if it bend if so go to a machine shop and fix it or buy a new one. Another thing remove the spark plugs put 2 cycle synthetic oil in it, then crank it start do it by quick intervals until it turns at least a couple of turns. Put a little more oil in the cylinders a do start cycles.
I have a couple of seadoos and two millenniums 2000 so and very familiar with it.
