Althought majority of this is true, the chickens being boiled alive is not. They are stunned and have their throats cut before being boiled to remove feathers. They say they are boiled alive because a very small number of chickens survive these precautions, so are boiled alive.

Like it or not, these chickens are born and raised to be eaten by people. I agree they are treated really badly but if it's not that, it isn't any life at all. I could agree with the comments below if they were written by vegetarians, but they aren'tThere are still other animals - pigs, sheep, cows - which are being slaughtered so that we get to eat meat. in a room and the oxygen is slowly sucked out of the room. The birds just fall
alseep and then they are hung up and processed.
The old mosaic law forbids animals cruelty and even specifies how food animals
ought to be treated and killed. Don't you think it should be done as painlessly as possible?

Like it or not, these chickens are born and raised to be eaten by people. I agree they are treated really badly but if it's not that, it isn't any life at all. I could agree with the comments below if they were written by vegetarians, but they aren'tThere are still other animals - pigs, sheep, cows - which are being slaughtered so that we get to eat meat. The problem about animal cruelty is much bigger. So stop being so mean with other opinions - almost all of us contribute to it.

Everybody needs a little KFC! Cutting off the beaks is a common practice for chickens and turkeys as they will cannibalize each other. They even do this egg laying chickens.
