"Look at you. You're so old now," is a reference to River's quote "Look at you. You're so young." She was even touching his face the same way. Also, Young!Kazran and Abigail's first kiss looked like the Doctor and River's. There are probably more references here, lol
can you imagine going out or being married to ms Jankins wow would you every tire of that voice????lucky man that end's up having her singing to hm when ever she feels like it haven
Just as an aside: Rory is hot in that Roman outfit. I considered him plain and not particularly interesting at he beginning of the series, but he kinda grows on ya. Anyway I was most amused that those two were all dressed up.
A load of people think that the :( the doctor gave when kazaran was like 'which day would you chose?' etc is a reference to Rose but (after recent revelations) I think it's a reference to River because the Doctor has already spent his last day with her and he is waiting for her to go to that....
I haven't seen the actual episode. So in what ways is this video edited? I know you put various clips of the episode together, but did you edit it to change the plot in any way?
@Mithcoriel I can't see the plot being changed at all. I think it has just been edited to include the flash backs which I don't remember in the programme.
It's so different, compare it to the voyage of the damned and their both brilliant in completely different ways, Moffat and Smith are storytellers, while Davies and Tennant were thrillers. Doctor who really can be anything xD
Well,Christmas Invasion is still my favourite episode but this is also awesome like every other DW episodes imo. I've been looking for a video like this: including scenes and the song. Thanks a lot for making this. ^^,
@BoyyM and @BassettReviewer - thanks very much. It was a great Christmas episode with many memorable scenes. I did take the time to re-watch Tennant's past Christmas specials (thanks to BBC iplayer). In comparison script-wise, unfeared of the danger of clichés, Moffat put out a Christmassy atmosphere into the heart of audience. And to top it all - Katherine Jenkin's debut TV acting and singing was stunning which wrapped up the show. It surely was a Christmas gift to many DW fans.
did you now that woman how sang is call katherine jenkins a WELSH singer

Very well done, but I think I liked the "Halfway out of the Dark" ending and music better.

Fellas. If you want to make your woman happy, just look at her the way that Michael Gambon looks at Katherine in this clip.
Beautiful. :)
