  • if your not part of law enforcement it is legal in most states to have these but only in red or amber... depending on the state

  • Aqui no Brasil seria ótimo. Os "cops" não podem fazer nada por não ter lei contra isso (só em carros não pode) e do jeito que temos ladrões de bike, pelo menos a noite poderia confundir eles.

  • These lights wouldn't be road legal - the cops would pull you over for misleading 'indicator' lights, as the alternate flashing would confuse motorists. Alternate flashing lights are reserved for emergency services only.

  • Is that for cops? LOL

  • I believe those lights are illegal in most counties.

  • where do they sell those lights and whats the name of them?

  • is for a police bike ???????????????? xD

  • I like the bar attached to the front. Thanks for the idea dude.

  • @tomcatGB lmao i got hit by a car.. no lights and im wearing a black sweater and btw i got hit by a car 2 days ago Lmfa0.+ my bike got fucked.

  • oh my god! thunder...thunder....thundercats!!.....wwwwwww!!!!!

  • Uploader, How much did that cost? I see systems like the TrailBlazer III by Alerte Systems at £200-400!

  • Those lights are enough to give motorists a brain seizure.

  • Hey lets do ledlights or over-do it :)

  • Cool where you find the lights? :D

  • WIL JE DIT KOPEN ?

    TYP bij google > led-bike.nl

  • Superb...... should show this to some of the idiots who ride bikes with no lights, wear black clothing in streets with no lighting and then wonder why they get knocked off their bikes..

  • @tomcatGB I wondered that exact same thing until I read this post.

  • douchin like a boss

  • je kan het kopen bij ww.led-bike.nl

  • @10lx -lol - sorry, the fronts are white not blue..

  • Can you make some for me??

  • @Kitfugl it cost me about $200 for parts + a few days with a dremel... not worth it.

  • ze verkopen dit hier w w w.led-bike.nl

  • @celil110 - these lights are custom made theyre not available anywhere.

  • where did u get that rear red light?

I want to buy the rear red light set

  • @ddbr48ddbr As these are custom - I moulded the rear lights into some uv Polyurethane pipe with a dremel & heat gun.

  • In the UK showing a blue light is an offence, unless you are driving an emergency vehicle. Only showing flashing lights is also an offence, at least one light front and back have to be constant.

  • Can I ask how much this setup costed?

  • @groovybluedog Including the carrier - all up cost was about $200USD

  • nice

  • Hes a PIG >:o

  • @THEMAKER888 hahahaha... no sorry im not.. the front lights are actually white - not blue. Could just be a camera backlight issue. LOL

  • This is actually amazing. You should sell this on dragons den. I would actually like a light that goes along the top tube for side on visibility.

  • WHERE CAN I BUY THIS?

  • @Kitfugl - theyre custom made..

  • Where did you order these from, or did you create your own mounting?

  • @SECURITYCOMMAND everything was custom on this setup including the mounting.

  • @10lx its far more sad that you actually think he is pretending to be a cop.

  • u did a great job---they have to see u

  • how did you do the casing can you please help me out?!

  • @xerri1501 I used thick uv resistant polyurethane pipe & a dremel. The pipe is about 3mm thick & 30mm in diameter. The lenses were sourced from other bike lights & fitted to the pipe.

  • XYNTA

  • Do you have the plans for this set-up? I'm a VFF in my hometown so I was wondering if you could send the plans to my YT account. If so thanks in advance!

  • @MegaCophater Im sorry I don't know what a VFF is & google/wiki isnt helping... There are no plans for this - they were just made from ebay & hardware store parts.

  • @melnmatt09 VFF = Volunteer Fire Fighter, and damnit, well can't you like um, try and draw one up? best as you can. Thanks

    Ace.

  • @celil110 wow!

  • wow.

  • in chicago u would more then likely get arrested for that because cop would say w.t.f. do u think u r doing

  • where can i get something like this? SOMEONE PLEASE RESPOND!!!

  • @thermon12 u cant

  • @thermon12 as i've said already - theyre custom - theyre not available to buy.

  • I won't use any battery powered head lights at all anymore. After getting caught in the dark too many times I learned my lesson. I bought a Schmidt dynamohub and LED light from Peter White. All I do is pedal and I've got light. The hub is supposed to be serviced every 30,000 miles. Never again will I ever use battery powered head lights.

  • @fixedgearforlife Thats a fair call... I don't think I ride enough for it to be a concern. But if you're a daily commuter, a hub alternator is a safe bet!

  • Put this on ebay. I will pay top dollar for this!

  • Nice setup, I did a similar setup with some different LEDs that I purchased at autodirectsave. com check out my profile for the video

  • nice! whats the name of that led?!

    I want one :D

  • where to buy?

  • Perfect bike to drive around in the rave. lol

  • that's great, i bet it helps keep motorists at appropriate distance when they pass you. v cool. if you have tech spec anywhere, let me know (granted the parts list is pretty self-explanatory).

  • whered you get the lights form?

  • Too bulky for cycling use. Looks like you can clothesline a person with that thing.

  • @853phile haha... the fronts are no wider than the handle bar.. the rears need some getting used to. I had thought of spring hinging them (like a wing mirror on a car). No pedestrians have been harmed yet...

  • This was a load of shit.

  • @GarthW2 Sucks to be you - I'm not in California... Also the fronts are white LED not blue. Must be a camera backlight setting. They do look blue on the video (sorry).

Also... in California you apparently have a law stating "Nobody is allowed to ride a bicycle in a swimming pool." Again - sucks to be you! These are waterproof...... :p

  • Where did you get the lights???

  • @gabe2304 They're custom made.

  • the pilice bike

    kkkkkkkkk

  • i want your bike man i love it

  • ok, now change bike

  • MY LED GREEN WHITE LIGHT TECHNIC:

    /watch?v=WK6ZM6Iocmc

  • Okay, so other road users can see you coming. Now, what do you use to actually light your path so you can see?

  • @JBofBrisbane Where I ride there are normally street lights. I thought of getting some high wattage cree led spots for the front aswell. Battery life is not an issue. It's a 2 amphour 12v lithium.

  • It would be pretty cool if you could turn them into turn signals, also.

  • @rnech Woulnd't be hard to add in some orange/yellow turn signals... but it might get a bit confusing with all the flashing... Cars just slow down & avoid me as it is...

  • song is gayer than riding with police lights.

  • @evoteck HAHAHA!! i was thinking this exact same thing. I can see the guy who made this video at home in spandex thinking this is the "coolest idea ever" Illegal, gay. Dumb.

  • @mnagmobile1 shut up

  • @mnagmobile1 ... I had yellow spandex on..

  • @evoteck LOL

  • make it red and blue on the front and you can ride like some NYPD officers

  • LOL reminds me of the Simpson's episode where Nelson is chasing people on his bike with red and blue "cop" flashing lights on his helmet scaring them.

  • hello, where can i get the excact lighting setup as in this video? thanks!!

  • whewres light?

  • silliest shit ive seen for dekades on a bike :D

oh yeah! they are flashing xD whats the use of this, playing bike-police?^^

hopefully they bring out a 2 meter version, im looking forward to seeing this on your bike lol!

    size: omfg

    weight: omfg

    brightness: omfg

  • Are you trying to be a cop?

  • bike lights are for ppl who can't keep up with cars....

  • very compact design!!!! hahahahaha

  • that song is SOOO whack!

what does that song have to do with bike lights anyways?

  • Gotta get one of the new BikeGlow lights on there!

  • Good song: what is it?

  • whats wrong with just getting a xenon lupine? best bike light ever. Great music tho on this vid, what is it?

  • @xangodango £249.99 might be the reason

  • I can see these getting broken very easily, and I bet they cost a lot.

  • nice

  • LOOOL OMG!!

  • nice! but so huge.. no good for jumps and fast speed

  • this is so good lights...

  • gay

  • i like it how did you do this ?

  • yeah i love casablanca

  • @dutchguy63 ... awesome idea... where can I get a red KITT Knight Rider light for my black 82 Transam?

  • cool quite try put them on the wheel

  • Jajaja, crazy XD, nice vid!

  • these are only to be seen on bike. cannot go on trails, it's ridiculous

  • how do you make thouse things I want to know.

  • good question i want those things too

    5*

  • were did u buy those lights??

  • where can i buy lights like that?

  • This is the coolest set of lights, great video, never have seen one before, now i need one for my bike too.

  • very blade runner! now if only the bike could fly....

  • id think your a bicycle cop.

  • I have a question. I don't actually ride bicycles, but I ride dirt bikes in the trail. I'm kind of cheap and was wondering if i were to buy bicycle lights would they be bright enough if I'm doing a constant speed of like...40? Any info would be appreciated!

  • I would say likely only if you spent a lot of money on what you may consider overly expensive.(and yes these things can go into the $100s) Assuming you mean 40mph.

  • Try some CREE Q5 based flash lights (around $10-15 each) mounted to the bars with straps. I'm running 4 Ultrafire C308 lights with a claimed 46/230 Lumen output (low/high) on Hi thats close to a bike light at around 1000 lumens. Last about an hour on hi and I tend to run two low and two hi. You can also mount on your helmet too. I find the closer the light is to my eyes the more I can see

  • heyy

were can i get some lights like that from

  • Dude, I need to know where u got these lights from! I totally want a set for my long distance road trip when i'll be along the highway with few streetlights! Please message back about them...

  • how many people can you pull over with that thing?

  • Cosìè quella cosa orrenda...sto per dare di stomaco...io che vado togliendo anche le freccie alla moto e tu che fai le metti alla bici!!!e poi fossero piccoline...se c'hai un po di vento difronte prendi il volo...oddioooo

  • Where can I get this kind of lights ?

    In the Car store ?

  • Cool lights, anyone know the name and artist of this song???

  • "Hook 'n' Sling" is the performer.

"The Best Thing" is the name of this track.

It's kind of trancey club mixey stuff from Oz, I believe. Heading into Europe shortly according to his/their myspace thingy.

  • Thanks for the info!

  • I really like these! Dam :p

  • imagine gettin pulled over by a cop with this shit LMAO omg this is funny

  • LMAO looks like some shit u would see on cops

  • Superb!! Ever thought of doing a video of how to make those lights?

Fantastic, how much did it cost?

  • is this relatively easy to do ? where'd you get all the stuff?

  • are these even legal? i think here in florida, if someone had them, theyd catch heat for having lights similar to police bike lights.

  • Sweet lights! So, when you gonna market and sell them? I want a set! ReptoJane <---bike geek QUEEN and year round bike commuter (in Chicago)

  • NIce :) I love it!

  • Impressive- best I've seen I think. Did you consider putting red and blue alongside of each other, front and back?

  • Yeah I did consider it, but then I'd wanna carry a weapon, chase bad guys, and leave it parked out the front of donutking.

  • @snoopyq hey where did you get those lights? brand name? those are wicked

  • @snoopyq lol that just made my day.

  • @snoopyq LMAO

  • @snoopyq Xcellent comment!!...you forgot to add " be overweight "
