I saw real blood on the moon Jan. 14, 2006! I had heard about volcanoes going off on the north an south poles at the same time so I got up the next Saturday morning and was looking at the moon with my digital binocular camera for a while, when all of a sudden, in the middle of the moon an ocean of blood appeared, an it was splashing like an ocean and it formed a river at the bottom and it went downwards then sideways then upwards an all that blood flowed behind the moon in 60 seconds.

It was a real sign ON the moon. Not a vision, not an illusion, a REAL sign from Jesus because I made myself available to see it. That was over 5 years ago. i have seen the moon this color many times when the moon comes out its white but when the moon its going down it turns reddish or yellowish see for your self i don't know why the news make it sound like its every 462 years or so. people who think it has something to do whit 2012 i don't think so, remember what they said about 2000 and look at us 10 years later going 11 and many people kill them self because they where afraid and all the things they could have done if they where no so dumb!!

It's the effect of the earth's shadow, change in the light wavelenghts by the sun. Change in wavelenghts also makes the sun red during sunsets; why the sky is blue. The wavelengths can also be manipulated by other (mostly transparent) materials. Because of such understanding, wavelegnths are also used to measure emissions and chemical trace detections on water(I do both at work). Wave lengths are unique for each elements.
