by the way theny started off Unova you can tell they're are just going to keep him 10 forever to stay with a younger fanbase........ competely ignoring the MASSIVE fanbase that grew up/ play pokemon...... sort of a dissapointment. I would like them to actually make a series where he doesn't make the same mistakes over and over again

max starts his journey when ash comes back from fiore region after 2 years (just like naruto lol) of being a pokemon ranger (remember he always hoped to be one some day) after BW, he decides to take some time off battles so he goes to fiore only with pikachu but he starts missing battles and catching pokemon (since rangers cant) so he beats team go rock and returns to kanto to start all over again (at that time ash is 16-17 and max is 10) so they meet again in hoenn when ash is 18 and max 12

i liked Max i was crying when he had to leave ralts behind because he was too young to be a trainer. If Max came back i would probably watch pokemon again. although getting his own show i believe would be a bit of a stretch.

@LuigiDude1808- It's a running gag; Crogunk or whatever the frog Pokemon Brock has now does almost the same thing. The show doesn't really care if it makes sense, kids find it funny.

Personally I prefer Max over any other added characters. Yes, he can be a know it all brat, but at least he has a reason- he's a kid. No one else really had a reason for their random stupidity.

Max is having a gallade or a gardevoir, (better gallade), a mightyena, jiriachi, a bannette , and deoxys; i think cuz this are the pokemon he had befriended in their last stage, and maybe we'll se them, since in one episode maz said that someday he would battle ash.
