  • So the controls for this is exactly the same as a Moonwalk in Melee? Because if you made the halfcircle upwards, he would change his path to go straight up, but if you go down it's like he's trying to turn around (same concept as moonwalk)

  • Hold up a sec... if u dash toward your opponent then jump backwards to then use extremestop to stop right behind them, if u can pull off a b-air somehow then fire a fully charged aura sphere then this might be pretty useful!! Can some1 get a vid of this plz? tht would be epic

  • I mostly use that but for a reverse attack

  • Could you use it to get behind the opponent and go for a grab?

  • @pkmnbrawler nah the recover time after the finish of the move to when you can attack agian is too long, unless someone has the reaction time of a lvl 1 comp or they make a bad mistake that wont really work unfortunately :/ still a cool trick though

  • Lol I was just going to say "Use it for recovery mindgames!" but then I read in the description that you can't use it in midair. <_<

  • i already knew this and the cpu copyed it lol now it abuses it

  • so its a downgraded quick attack cancel???? usefull though if combo with his a attacks right ^.^

  • i can do this with fox

  • yea and his side b

  • Also, if you do this, but instead of holding up, quickly force the stick back down, he will complete about one paw length (had to have something to work with :\) short of a full grounded-up-B, land with no landing lag, AND will be able to reuse a grounded-up-B.

Both of these mentioned can have their landings reversed by slightly tilting the stick, after you've forced the stick in the final wanted direction, in the direction you want him to face (only useful to tilt the stick for reversals).

  • There's actually a much better way to do this, now.

If you hold down (or diagonal-down left, depending on which direction you want to go), and then immediately hold up as soon as the movement of the move starts, Lucario will do the backflip thing, but land (about 1/3 the distance of a full-length grounded-ub-B) with almost NO landing lag.

  • this CAN be useful, like if you're using extremespeed but then realize that somebody is about to do something at the end (like they're charging up a homerun bat) you can just stop

  • lol I don't think I have seen a more farfetched example. The idea that 2 people will be playing with items; that the lucario character will for some reason execute a grounded extreme speed that would end right next to the opponent; and that the opponent would have executed a fsmash with the goddamn slow bat (that works infinitely better as a throwing item) is so out of this world that you should have never even considered it.

  • it could be ness or lucas f-smash

  • I commented before cause I just found the example very funny. But I'll say now that this move is useless for grounded locomotion. The starting lag is too big, the ending lag is to big, the possibility of screwing up is much higher than with standard walk/jump/run, it's not an effective spacing tool, it's not an effective mindgame tool etc. Even with no landing lag, it still sucks. If you don't want to walk/run/jump, don't do this, charge your sphere.

  • The Bat is not slow, you knock enemies with one hit using it...slow things make insane damage.

  • @Supermaster4567 or for about 3/4 that knockback, just chuck the thing.

  • Not really usefull in a real match. To much starting and ending lag.

  • in what directions do you have to draw the halfcircle?

  • i would assume in the opposite direction your goin (if ur goin right do it clock wise, if ur goin left counter clockwise

  • Looks some wat like a quickdraw or quick dash!!!

  • It looks useful, but the end lag is longggg x__x

  • shumpo!

  • Or Sonido, lol.

  • or hirenkyaku?(quincy version)

  • I wasn't trying to hide it...

    ?

You know that, besides damage intake, there is no difference between training mode and a real match, right?

  • wow dumbass

  • He called you a dumbass because training mode doesn't affect your movement ability at all. Everything is exactly the same as a normal match except for the lack on another player.

  • Yeah, it would've been better if DJpwn1423 had done more that just insult you. Explanations are always better than insults.

  • ur still a dumbass it even says it in the description how to do it btw

  • HEY! no flaming, ppl. chiiiiillllll

  • Actually, in a real match, ofcourse, it counts on what happens, and in training, nothing counts. But still, who cares if it was training or not. Luigi isn't moving...so?

  • @JeepySol

There is. Stale move negation doesn't occur in training mode from what I've heard. I've been able to do some crazy combos with my pikachu that NEVER work in any other modes.

  • @JeepySol don't forget stock!

  • Mind games is all I can think of atm.

  • hhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • how do you glide like that?

  • hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

  • HmmmmmmMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

  • dude that isnt a cancel its natural lucrio psyhics. you can change and turn lucarios movement in the air to check it out :\

  • For sure, I know it's not a cancel. And I think every one who has played the game knows you can turn in the air.

  • Why do people automatically assume it's a cancel?
