I just got this gun and the holt is really hard to cock. Not so much when i pull it back, but when i push it back forward it doesnt go in easy and gets stuck. It takes alot of force. Is this normal? Please help me out. Thanks

@ASTKilo23 Ok ill call airsoft gi and see what happens. How is the bolt on yours. Does it just easily slide Back in or does it take a little force? Like can u slide it in easily with just your finger or does it take like your whole hand? My bolt takes my whole hand to put back in. And its not so much that, that bothers me but the bolt gets stuck right before its at the spot where you turn it and lock it back into place. Idk why but it annoys me alot. Btw there is no scratching noises etc etc,

@ASTKilo23 hey i have this gun and im having a problem. when i take my first shot it hits exactly where i aim, when i reload and take my next shot it hits exactly 2 inches above where i aimed. i reload again and it hits exactly where i aim. this process continues and i hit the same two spots every single time. any suggestions?

@JoinTheRevoltGaming you probably have some friction between the spring and the inside of the cylinder. If you've worked on the VSR or Bar-10 before then it'll be easy to go in and figure out what the problem is, otherwise i'd try to get it returned or look up a video on how to take the cylinder apart.

@DaveTeMan i used to have an issue like that. try seeing if your safety assembly is working right - when i had the problem, i found out that the spring for my safety flew out when i opened it up one time. i think that a mag catch spring will work in there, which is 2$ on airsoftgi.

it's a nice gun. i bought mine broke but fixed it. its accurate, nice stock, light, and can be upgraded with vsr-10 upgrades. but for mine i put a damn muzzle break on it (muzzle beaks for airsoft are fake for all of you people that ask if silencers really work, but a muzzle break is mostly commanly found on sniper rifles like the Barrett M82A1)

@DaveTeMan not sure where you heard that, but to my knowledge that is not true. as far as i know, ALL versions of the jg bar10 has the stock 6.08 inner barrel.

@ASTKilo23 K and and I am also looking for a new bucking but can't find a Nineball bucking. So would you recommend the king arms hard bucking for vsr10 or the firefly soft bucking for vsr10?(And I don't have any FPS upgrades because buckings also depend on the FPS as well.)

@DaveTeMan well if you are leaving the spring stock, go with the firefly soft bucking. if you intend to upgrade at all, go with the king arms hard bucking.

Hey prodigy, I have a question. I want to get a 6.01 tightbore for my bar 10, but I really can't buy the Edgi tightbore for vsr 10. So my question is will a JBU 440 mm tightbore barrel fit in this gun?

@DaveTeMan first of all, the barrel has to be specifically for this gun. its is common knowledge that vsr style guns have different barrel requirements. secondly, the barrel cap on this gun is not large enough for a barre lto fit through without modification. you will need a 430mm barrel.

So, I was wondering where I could find someone who would do custom work for me. I also need a recomendation on what parts to buy. I had an A&K M4 RIS S-System, so I have the internals for it. @ryancresta it sounds like something is faulty or too tight in your trigger box. maybe try taking that apart and checking for worn or broken parts.
