  • which pixel is kovalev??

  • Bob Cole is a prick!!

  • Tim Thomas is a big baby!

  • never forget this <3

  • Habs up 2-0 in a series=bad thing. When they've done that going back to 1996, they're a combined 3-14 in the following games in that series. Ghastly! They recovered to win in 2008 but blew three of the others, two being with 4 straight losses (96 vs. Rangers, 06 vs. Carolina) and three home losses in there. Bell Centre has great atmosphere but is the antithesis of the Forum for playoff success. Something about old buildings was harder to play in. Modern ones are all the same unfortunately.

  • Wait why did we let go of an awsome player? sorry i just started to watch hockey.

  • @ElvarSlayer Did you see him after he left? He was awful with Ottawa then the Pens. I think the phrase should be "Why did he leave us?" It seemed he took his ball and went home. Ottawa offered him less per year but an extra year so he took it. He left Montreal over that!? Then he spent the next season pining for Montreal, saying to the media how he'd miss playing there and how much he loved the town. Could've done the right thing and retired a Hab but sulked and put contract ahead of his heart.

  • Legends play in Montreal, or come from Montreal.

  • damn did Kovy ever look good with that C on there

  • 2007-2008 season, Kovalev was a god

  • as good a player as alex is,or rather was, he wasted as much natural talent as any player of the last 20 years. that he has never had a 50-goal or 100-point season is almost beyond comprehension. he's gotten by on natural talent in order to put up decent numbers. a player with his skills should have put up superstar numbers. he's an exasperating player. i am a rangers fan and can only say that his inability to keep things simple and just make the normal plays drove me up a tree.

  • @dzanier Kovalev is what you'd get if you created a Mario, Gretzky or Jagr clone in a lab but made sure to give them the bare minimum amount of brains, heart and drive. Kovalev did not use those for even 25% of the games he played in the league. Had he given twice the effort, he would've been a Hall of Fame player for sure. Was the Habs biggest gamebreaking forward since Naslund probably, but didn't bring it enough. Oh well, still owned that Montreal crowd in the palm of his hand.

  • I couldn't have said it better. He was an exasperating player to watch. His potential was limitless but his brain was limited.

  • THIS GIVES ME SO MUCH CHILLS!

  • fuck boston !!!lol

  • 240p, we meet again

  • Rarely will you see a shot from that angle ever find the back of the net. You either need to get lucky or you need to be able to pick a spot so small only few players could do it.

    Kovalev wasn't lucky.

  • @TheHockeyCentral all skill all swag.

  • hey, il est agent libre cette année:il faut le signer!!!

  • I love the Bell Center lol

  • great memories kovy kovy kovy Montreal Rock!

  • Why did he have to leave to Ottawa....Im preety damn sure if he would of stayed with montreal for a Mill less.....we would have him instead of Gomez and we would of won the cup last year.....Imagine....Plec Kovy n CAmmi= DEATH!

  • Cheers Alex. - Ты один из крутейших россиян в НХЛ. - It's a pity Bykov disregards you. - Alex go kick some ass with the Senators! - Greets from Latvia

  • best wrist shooter ever is KOVY....snap shooter SAKIC....BEST slap shooter BRETT HULL.....AND THE BEST GOALIE PATRICK ROY

  • kovalev seems to have alot of success on thomas... I would love to see his career number against him

  • @jgrewal66 yeah he also finished some lucky goals on him after great, amazing spinning moves and stuff.

  • i hate the canadiens, but i like kovalev a hell of a lot more than ovechkin

  • This might be one of the most sick, insane, dirty, amazing, snipe slap shots you will EVER see.

  • Kovalev was probably one of the most dangerous players on the powerplay. If you give him ANY room he will put the puck in.

  • @TheHockeyCentral Yes! that's why we had back2back best PP in the league when we had Kovalev.

  • Thomas... AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Comment removed

  • tabarnac kovy avec le C ...ya rien qui peut battre ca

  • Loudest croud in the NHL!?!?!?

    no question about it

  • Fuck i miss Kovalev....Cammalleri,Gionta,gomez will never be able to play like Kovy in playoffs....never

  • @TheGamegangsta2 loll really???????

  • @deathnotefan18 never mind

  • @TheGamegangsta2 Well Cammalleri finished with the most goals in the playoffs and played one less round. Gionta scored many goals too and Gomez was Gomez...

    So never say "never" :P

    GO HABS GO 2010/2011!!!

  • kovalev fires...SCORES , KOVALEV HAS WON THE GAME , on that BULLET SHOT , and the canadiens are up 2-0 , another of cole's legendary quotes

  • I actually liked it better, when he said "Baby for sure!"

  • @shitabys11 was just about to write the same quote

  • @shitabys11 buffalo has the greatest commentator in the history of the nhl

  • For all the flack this guy gets for not having heart he sure had a ton of heart to go around when he was our temporary captain.

I will definitely miss this guy, Sens fans are so lucky even if he did openly say he still wants to retire a hab :(

    Go Habs Go

  • SOOO right ... man this video makes me have tears haha, it was my fav goal to watch live of him

  • Truer words could not be spoken.

What's funny is that Alex took all the flack wven while he wasn't our ACTUAL Captain.

    Saku didn't get ANY FLACK.

  • Le but de vos Canadiens, son premier des séries compté par le #27, Canadiens goal, his first of the playoffs scored by the number #27, ALEX KO-VAL-EV !

  • amazing skill. bruins suck

  • amazing all i gotta say

    BRUINS ARE TRASH

  • amazing...kovalev will back next year as captain .. go habs go

  • Tonight was a warmup for HABS !

  • on les a eu l'ans passer on va les avoir cet anner!!!!!!!

  • "Absolute laser baby!"

    -Bill Clement

  • urrrrm yeah sure kovalev destroyed the bruins single handedly last year...explains why u hate him

  • No i just remember that play when he faked being hurt in 04 and it came back to bite him in the ass. He is good im not denying that although much better last year then this year.

  • #27 ALEX KO---VA---LEEV!!!!!!!!!!

  • t malade ahaha streit

  • a little hole about 2inches over the right sholder... what a shot

  • mark streit aurait mieux fait sa!!!!

  • "to the blue-line and Markov slipped it ahead, Kovalev FiReS! SCORES!!! Kovalev has won the game on that bullet shot!!!" WOW! WHAT A FUCKIN' LETHALLY PRECISE SHOT!!

  • Another great call by Bob Cole, let's hear either Jim Hughson, Gary Thorne or Doc Emerick top THAT!!!

HNIC/CBC's coverage of The Stanley Cup Finals will never be the same without both Bob Cole AND Harry Neale calling it.

Fuck ABC/ESPN, NBC and Versus in the ass!!! They will never beat HNIC/CBC's legendary coverage, and oh yeah, their intemission shows here in the States can't even come close to "Coach's Corner" with Don Cherry and Ron McLean!!!

  • Agreed, but if cbc ever brings on that shithead Pierre Mcguirre then i will never watch them again.(except for Cherry lol)

  • lmfao that's english , but nothing beats RDS , for french commentatry

  • Absolutely agree. It's just not the same watching Saturday night hockey without Bob Cole's legendary voice. He can turn an average game, and make it sound like an epic one.

The only other person I'd be able to watch hockey with is Joe Bowen, because I'm biased. Other than that, Bob Cole is a legend and HNIC without him just isn't the same.

  • @AK47Music

     You're GOD DAMN RIGHT.

  • That was a rocket.

  • I read an article about which teams has the crazyest fans in the NHL, and they chose, the Habs >

    Congrats ...

I see that the Rangers vs Habs in the Finals >

  • Jeez I'd love to see your list of the best players...

  • ok i will make it

  • spell his name right (FOR ONE)

  • nice shot

  • He blast's the puck in there
