I love the Hyundai Sonata. But I prefer the Kia Optima better. But it's all down to opinion on this because the SPECS are pretty much the same. After that it just depends on the persons taste. But I like this car also. GREAT CAR!

Hyundai was awful to deal with and I will continue to tell everyone,,Buy American brand instead of a company like Hyundai whose District Service mgr are a joke ,They put a car out then has 3000 vehicles with the stutter stop problem,then they run a add saying the car was checked for275000 miles bull,our car was in the shop 3 times before 3000 miles,,,

Why are you checking out the windows for blindspots in the first place? You're supposed to use your side-mirrors for blindspots, and the rear-view for everything behind the blind-sports. If your mirrors are properly-adjusted, there shouldn't BE a blindspot.

@slyscafe I agree with you. If people would only learn to adjust their mirrors for a panoramic view instead of all three mirrors giving a view behind the car, there would probably be less accidents. It takes a bit to get used to but in the long run, it's nice to see EVERYTHING behind and beside your car without having to turn your head.

drove the 2.0t what a blast to drive ,hard to believe u can get that much power out of a 4 banger,handled good plenty of room,better price than the kia turbo with the 7k markup our dealer has here in nashville tn,.the sonata was still showing 34mpg even after we were driving it like we stole it,going back at end of year to get one,

guy you don't need the hyundai ipod cable, just get a regular aux cable and ipod connector (white) and it works.

@maeng97: That didn't work with my car.  The system would not recognize the iPhone. Fortunately, they included the special iPod cable with the car, the sales lady told my wife it was in the glovebox but didn't tell me. I have the Infinity audio system with Nav.

For the minimal savings at purchase and the horiffically low resale value the only question is WHY. Back when Hyundai was 25% less than their Japanese compeditors it was a good value, now save 1K on a 23K vs 24K car it is no longer a great deal.

I dont mind this car but really if i had $23,000 i'd buy a 94 Honda Legend.

That car has Sunroof, Auto adjusting seats with memory, auto adjusting steering wheel with memory, powered telescopic steering.

Get this it has powered adjustable rear seats and remote control radio for rear passengers. Seriously its an undrated car. Not even the Lexus of that era had powered rear seats. Not to mention leather everywhere and heated seats to name more.. etc.

Legends... just plain Legendary.

The SUBARU is a total knock off car. It literally steals the rear from Lexus and Interior from BMW. There is no uniqueness with the Legacy. Hyundai on the other hand did a fine job with the new Sonata. It's a winner.

Man, SUBARU (Fuji Heavy Industries) ? like the name implies the design sucks. The reason the company became a niche player is not because it makes AWD but because the styling and prices are not there where majority people desire to purchase. Same all same all. boring as hell :(
