Avenged Sevenfold is definitely the greatest band out there. While other metal bands recycle and re-use the same garbage that EVERY metal band uses, they have crafted their own unique sound, the minute a song starts playing you KNOW its A7x and I absolutely fucking love every second of it. Syn uses double rifts that sound really good combined with zacky and you cant actually tell hes doing double rifts because their timed so well

matt shadows looks hot to girls and he can sing any note perfectly, and can put the strangest meanings into songs

you are all just fucking stupid. Jimmy was born with a large heart and he wasn't going to live past 30. Once the pain really started to kick in around age 28, he decided that he didnt wanna live his last year or two in absolute pain. The song "fiction", originally named death, was like his goodbye note to everybody. yes, he did kill himself, yes he did overdose but he wanted to die with dignity so he combined his painkillers and alcohol. He didnt want everyone to remember him as being in pain.

@Mik4A7X I thought it was common knowledge that he accidentally overdosed. They were at a wedding, and he had a lot to drink. He came home, and took his medication, not knowing that it would react in a bad way to the alcohol in his system. Atleast that's the story I heard.

For this band the solo is just average. Typical up & down the neck runs, then a harmony line that sounds like bees buzzing. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan. They need to step up their game & stop being a caricature of themselves. as for the Rev, the brightest light burns the shortest.
