OMG! I cooked this last night and my kids killed it. They don't even like vegetables but they ate it this time.... Thanks!!!! Oh and the extra sauce does work,,,:-) Next I'm trying the salmon and mashed potatoes..........
OMG! I cooked this last night and my kids killed it. They don't even like vegetables but they ate it this time.... Thanks!!!! Oh and the extra sauce does work,,,:-)
it looks really good ,but to me she steamed everything instead of stir frying. the veggies are suppose to remain crisp. the longer you cook veggies the more of the nutrients you remove from them. i will be trying this , but i will be tweaking it just a little! keep up the good ideas teyaa
I have to make this tomorrow. I would sub chicken for the pork and low sodium soy sauce or use something else. Thats what cooking is all about, changing a recipe. Thanks again, Ayeyaaa. P.S., and make brown rice...LOL
oh my god i am on master cleanse and it dont just look good cause i am not able to eat but it just looks good period and i will be trying this when i am off master cleanse for my healthy foods. thanks so much as usual... you got it going on girl!!!
Brocolli Slaw, Wonderful idea ........Oooh. I can't wait to make this dish. It will be along time, but Brocolli slaw........ MMM........ However, I am going to have to take out the pork because I'm allergic to it. But, the shrimp and everything else, thumbs up. Thank ateyaa........ Keep up the great work honey. ~ PEACE (radiah)
I'm definitely gonna try this one. I'll probably use Chicken & Shrimp. I made sure to rate since I hadn't been doing that. Have a Great Day. Thanks so much.
I LOVE HOW YOU MADE THIS DISH !! HOWEVER I PERSONALLY WOULD PROBABLY HAVE USED SHRIMPS AND SCALLOPS OR SHRIMPS AN CHICKEN.. I'M TRYING TO STAY AWAY FROM RED MEAT & PORK.. I WAS WONDERING IF YOU STEAMED YOUR VEGETABLES FIRST OR JUST PUT IT AS IS ??
MMM!! This looks healthy and delicious!!!!j I love stir fry!! have you ever tried the boil in bag rice!! I love it and it is so easy and cooks your rice perectly!!!
Random---> I wanna lose weight, my apt has a gym, I have p90x dvd, and plenty other workout dvds, but I can't start working out. I dnt know how to cook so I eat outside... pls help ;(
@lisalary Try to get some recipes that's easy and basic and only have a few steps and common ingredients. Rice is easy to make and the directions are right on the box if your into brown rice or any rice, or you can buy a rice cooker real cheap. Chicken and fish are easy to cook so start out with recipes that call for chicken or fish. Get your basics herbs & spices like onions, garlic, bell peppers, tomatoes, sea salt, black pepper and olive or grapeseed oil for browning or sauteeing. Enjoy!
@ettisen Thanks soooo much for all these information. Thanks a lot.
May God bless you. I will try my best. The thing is everytime I try to cook something, it usually turns out "not eatable" .... But I will keep trying.
@lisalary And start to work out. At least it's a start while you venture into cooking. Your on the right track so just keep going. Also just make healthy choices when eating out. Familarize yourself with the menus and know the nutrition for the meals you may choose. It may help to stick to maybe one or two places to dine at. Cooking is fun and you WILL get the hang of it. All the best and do not be discouraged. You can do it!
Great job Ateyaaa! For those who don't eat port you can use Turkey Breast Cutlets as your alternative and slice them into strips like Ateyaa did!
@Ateyaa: Girl I am eating some of the Broccoli Slaw now, I use it to make coleslaw and Vegetable egg rolls! Uhmm DELISH! You like salt like I do, because I know the sodium is OFF THE RICHTER scale with the Tony Chachere, Sesame Dressing, Soy Sauce, Salt AND the seasoned Vegetables! WOW! But I'd just pop a water pill and call it a day, LMBO!!
@chocolatedyamond You are funny. It's not a stir-fry which was previously stated by other commenters. Now please find something else better to do than calling me a know-it-all. I can't help it if I'm educated in ways that you aren't. I'll refrain from calling you any names unlike you did to me. Thanks.
@MakeupByStephanie ugh chick please! like I said no one cares and if it was previously stated by other viewers why did u have to repeat...I'm pretty sure she knows by now. so hush now thanks! oh yea please do not message me back
OHHHH, this looks sooooo goood !!! I was a little skeptical about the veggies and slaw, but at the end it all came together!!! This is a must try!!! Thanks for sharing!!
Those are some nice sized shrimp! I miss living in the N.O. it's so much easier to get your hands on the best seafood. Seems like all the seafood in ATL is frozen not fresh. Did you get those locally in Texas?
Okay Ateya, you gonna make me do my first ever cooking video. I am stopping at the store on my way home tonight and picking up all the ingredients to make this dish. It looks yummy and very healthy. Thanks for this one.
humm that looked really good. i was needing another idea for a new meal. as you may know it's hard to be creative when cooking. it's great to see cooking videos to get the creative juices going.
it looks delicious, but it's not really a stir-fry - hell, you didn't stir it hardly at all :P you stewed the meat and steamed the veges - but it does look tasty with all those great seasonings
Thank you for mixing up the video's with hair, make-up, and cooking. LOL. I got my Rachel Ray cookware set and will be cooking this dish for the weekend. Thanks Ateya!!
I'm going to try this over the weekend but I'll use chicken instead of pork and whatever vegetables I can find at the farmers market, and maybe a touch of flour to thicken up the sauce.
