  • Ok, yeah, I can see memorizing a few dozen or a few hundred sequences given enough time. But decoding the visual information of this plastic monstrosity and selecting which to apply almost instantaneously? Jesus. That's not to mention the physical dexterity needed to accurately manipulate a rather awkward and delicate object so quickly.

  • la wea cocotua la kgo!

  • 4 people don't have the intellectual power to handle a Rubik's cube. =)

  • How was your edge-pairing so fast?

  • This. Is. Bullshit.

  • damm ... you have to be super neerdish to solve this... going to buy a 3x3x3 guhong

  • @avyrez Hey, there's nothing wrong with being a nerd. That just means that he's smarter than your average person. I'm a nerd, but I can't solve this right here, though. this the kind of person that got a very nice job as a heart surgeon, or something.

  • Nice....

  • i love hearing the shuffle of the cube

  • I was solving 5 x 5 while you did this lol

  • @thebourneman

    You are slow.

    Watch michal halczuk's videos

  • OMG

    Have you any other hobbys?^^

  • that looks very hard I'm getting a headache watching this

  • what the hell?

  • i cant see im getting dizzy

  • Comment removed

  • boring! >.>

  • Mad i aint done mine yet

  • cool but I personally don't find it necessary to learn how to solve bigger than 3x3x3 coz generally ppl have 3x3x3 and you can impress them by solving it.

I don't think that there's anything amazing about it if one can solve X amount of layers of cube really fast. Anyone who has patience and some sense of logic can learn them ;)

I found learning to write backwards using other hand quite challaning :)

  • Maybe someone could write their name backwards with one hand and solve the cube in another... Mike Hughey solved a cube behind his back while juggling...

Often times when someone solved a rubik's cube for the first time it's a good feeling... then advancing onto larger ones is yet more fun... despite impressing people, it has transformed into a growing sport.... It would sure be boring solving 'just' the original rubik's cube...

  • yer, you're right obviously. I'm quite corious what is the fastest time solving a 3x3x3 without the Algorytms? My mate did in two hours, but never could repeat that time. I never bothered doing it, I haven't got that much patience :)

  • i can solve it now in 1 minute without algoritms ...

  • Probably 10 seconds or so. There are a lot of intuitive methods, but people only get those times because they got a lucky mix of the cube.

  • you'd be surprised how quick you can solve it without algorithms.

I just learnt the basic concept of comutators and i can now solve the 3x3 intuitively in around 5 minutes

  • @Skateboardingcuber i can solve it in 68 seconds with a system i made up. and by the way that's what all these competitons are about it's not about if you can solve it without using algorrithms it's about how fast you can solve it PERIOD!!!!!!

  • @Skateboardingcuber nice, lol I can solve with algorithms in 50 secs but nothing as good as what you can do ^^

  • I solved it OH while unicycling. and that was just for fun

  • Actually, it was for a talent show. XD

  • my friend who is only 12 can solve a 7x7x7 but it takes him about 15 min I can only solve up to a 5x5x5

  • who cares?

  • if you can solve up to a 5x5 you can solve a cube with any number of layers dummy

  • not really, the 5x5 has only one type of inner edge, while 6-7 has more than one.

  • what does that have to do with it though? i really would like to know, im getting a 7x7 for christmas and i dont want to have to learn a ton of new stuff

  • lol thats not a rubiks cube,its a V-cube

  • HOLY SHIT!!! That cube is going to give me nightmares!

  • 0:01

  • The fun in doing it is your making your self smarter!

  • Uhm... It's pretty cool that he can solve 7x7x7

But, I don't really see the fun in it ?

Why are there so many doing it ?

  • hobby maybe, like video games, sports...no different. In his case though, it just might be his profession.

  • i dont understand.. did that guy just use his brain? or did someone write a language for the 7x7x7?

  • Just for the record all cubes use the same algorhythms.

  • Um actually just for the record, all cubes do not use the same algorithms

  • 7x7x7 exist?! what has the world come to

  • aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • this guys good

  • amaaazing!!

    i didn't know there was a 7x7x7

im still messing with my brain trying to figure out the 3x3x3 rubik's cube ^-^

    nice

  • i bet this guy has an IQ of over 500000000000000!

  • its not IQ, its just memorizing stuff and common sense :D

  • not if u dont use algorithms and just learn it by ur self =)

  • fast fingers has nothing to do with IQ

  • that is insane! I cant even solve a 3x3x3 cube.

  • when does this come out

  • great solve

  • bro that guy took a long time but at least he can solve it

  • I'm asking nicely to please teach me to solve a 4x4x4. Dan Brown failed to keep me on track. Thank you

  • I am working on a video that is different from Dan's. It is a modified cage method that does not encounter any parity. Hopefully I can get the video done in the next few weeks.

  • try RobH0629's tutorial he helped me out.

  • woah!!!!!

  • I can solve any size cube with only 6 diff. sets of memorized moves. The rest is common sense.

    1.Corner permutation-4 moves

    2.Corner swap-7

    3.Corner rotation-8

    4.Side edge swap-9

    5.Side edge switch (2 pieces)-10

    6.Side edge switch (4 pieces)-15

Moves 1,2,&3 are moves to solve a 2x2x2 and are very easy. 4 is used the side rows on a 4x4x4. 5 & 6 are used on the center row of any cube and 6 uses the same 10 moves as 5 with 1 additional move at the beginning and 4 more at the end. EASY

  • But the centers?

  • You can use a simple move that is called center swapping. It is real simple and similar to center swapping on a 3x3x3. I am working on a video.

  • The centers do not require any new algorithm. Center swapping is similar to center swapping on a 3x3x3 and is very simple. Use common sense.

  • were can i buy one

  • google v-cubes.

I got mine for $60.97 + around $12 shipping. Took about a week.

  • Wow!!! My record for the 7x7x7 is 33 minuetes. I wish I could be that fast!

  • Frank Morris? Is this the guy that escaped from Alcatraz! OMG!

  • i no rite! Thats what I was about to say!

  • prbly the reason why he's so smart. lol

  • Thats not a Rubik's Cube its a V-Cube, but their pretty much the same thing.

  • holy crap, u have no life, i admire your determination and wish i could be like you, lol..... i have no life either and can do a 5x5x5 in a litle less the 20 minutes, im not as good as you by far.

  • dude i think thats his job

  • dont say he has no life, if he gets rich from doing that he HAS a life so shut up

  • Holy crap, that's amazing. I can do the 3x3x3, but this ... Most people don't understand just how many different move sequences that are involved. Two thumbs up!

  • I use the cage method to solve all my cubes. It is by no means the fastest but it is the most consistent between all cubes. You alos will never have parody in a cube with the cage method. Cage method - solve all 8 corners first, then all the edge pieces, and then use center swap to salve the centers. Very easy. I will post a video on a 5x5x5 soon. The 7x7x7 is just the same but more pieces.

  • If I could solve one side of that thing I would die...

  • The hardest part of solving a V-Cube 7 is buying one. They're not that hard.

  • i did mine in 4 minutes

  • wow this is just simply breathtaking, i have enough trouble doing 3x3x3

  • ye...its curved, thats pretty cool

  • you are crazy men

  • its kinda roundish. the cube

  • its 377.40 seconds though

  • WOW! I can hardly do the 3x3x3 XD

  • lets c u get one of those things and solve it less than 5 fucking minutes...hypno159753

  • hey hypto8912739876408713248131263851283 sut the fuck up you fat fuck

  • that cube looks awesome

  • wow...it takes me over an hour just to solve a 5x5...but im thinking about getting one... is it worth it...does it break easier?

  • the middle pieces pop out sometimes but it is well worth getting

  • thats sooo cool!

  • very good job dude!

  • Is there any paradoys?(sorry if I spelt that wrong)

  • parities?

    lol

    no

  • yes there is parities but only on last 2 edges all big cubes have that

  • yes,but not like the 4x4 parities there are only edging parities and those are easier to solve than the 4x4's parity

  • AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i cube and i was afraid of a 5x5x5, but this.... this is just torture

  • so easy to solve a 7x7x7

    hers the solution

    HACKS!

  • My personal best solving a 5x5x5 rubik's cube is 7:15...

    Frank Morris is amazing!

  • morris pwnz-jooall XD

  • Where do you get a 6x6x6 and a 7x7x7

  • v-cubes(dot)com

  • Or you can get them in greece (I think)

  • yes they're available in many places in europe and at certain toy stores in the eastern u.s.a but the easiest way is through the internet

  • where do you get those

    ?????//

  • damn!! i want one of those! but i would die trying to solve it.....

    COOL! you're amazing

  • for those who dunno how to solve 5x5x5 may think it slow(cuz many 3x3x3 vids in utube are around 20 secs).

i never solve 7x7x7 but it took me more than 15 mins to solve 5x5x5, so i think he's extremely fast!

  • thats beautiful

  • cool! i didnt noe there was such thing as a 7x7x7 cube! and its like "spherey" shape

  • I just solved my first 3X3. I was so proud... until I saw this vid. Holy crap.

  • i was like so glad i solved my first 3X3 as well i was tearing up so im with you :p

  • oh oops srry i was thinking like a microwave

    100=1 minute

    sowwy

  • btw that was totally not 389 seconds

  • learn to count..

    6:29--> 6mins = 360 seconds + 29 seconds = 389 seconds.

  • LOL at that! (:

    SERVED BBZ! =D

  • ya what youngster said i thought they didn't make those yet!

  • were do you get those 7x7 from

  • I can do the 5x5, but not one of those!!!

  • if you know how to solve a 5x5 it shouldnt be very hard, there will only be a different edge parity when there are only two left, just need a weird algorythm. just a matter of solving the centres, edges then its just a 3x3 basically. looks like fun.

  • Oh man... that looks sooo hard to solve. XP

  • After watching this video I felt so stupid...I can't even solve a 3x3x3 cube.I didn't understand anything from his method to solve it. :S

  • I would like to be good to solve any rubik's cube, but I can't even solve 2x2x2 :D

  • I would like to be good to solve any rubik's cube, but I can't even solve 2x2x2 :D

  • yeah! go Idaho!

  • What method is used to solve this?

  • lol, it's the big cube method....solve the centers, then edges, then solve it like a regular three by three...same method for the four by four and five by five

  • that is amazing

  • I love the sound that the cube makes. Makes me want to move the layers around.

  • nvm i checked 4mins 8 seconds is my 3x3x3 record

  • dam he is good...im speechless.....my best time on a friggen 3x3x3 is 4min.s and 50 something seconds

  • i can solve it too... but it takes me a half hour.... lol

cant wait to actually buy one rather than a computer program

    lol

  • cool :)

  • y is the olympic cube all domed out at the sides

  • this one is called the V-Cube. its not the original Rubix cube

  • If it weren't domed on the sides the corner pieces wouldn't stay in right since they are much smaller compared to the size of the whole cube.

  • oh ok... do you know where they are selling those besides in greece?

  • I don't even think they are being sold in Greece. As far as I know they are being released for order or something at the end of the year. You can visit their website at V-Cubes dot com

  • can't WAIT till they come out. im planning on getting one from the first set. I can solve it in 20 mins on gabbasoft and I want to improve my time with a real cube.

  • omg i found how he did it fast!

  • I don't know why people always talk about having to memorize new algorithms all the edge parity issues that come up on big even cubes can be reduced and corrected using the one parity algorithm there are no new algorithms for big cubes unless you're trying to compete then you would need new algorithms for speed but i've been cubing for about 3 months and I can solve the 6x6x6 sub 6 using gabbasoft and the 7x7x7 sub 10 with no new algorithms just intuition. and I haven't even learned friedrich

  • ya know whon even knows friedrich but people know fridrich

  • 7x7 is like 4x4 centers, then 5x5 centers, then 4x4 centers, then 5x5 centers, and fix edges and finally solve it like a 3x3 and fix parity if there is one.

  • tht really makes now sense bro...re read wht u wrote

  • you don't cube, do you? by 4x4 centers I mean the corners of of centers, 5X5 i mean edges of centers.

  • i do cube, its just the way you said it was weird thats all

  • also you said the same thing twice which was very confusing too

  • How come the edges are bowed out like that?

  • Because there are several movable parts of the cube. It is constructed like that so that the corners are closer to the center of the cube, therefore giving the cube a more solid construction.

  • It also helps the turning process. It will turn 45x easier

  • it will take all mil life to solve that @#%!

  • Considering i know how to do the 4*4*4 cube i think if i had a go at this it might take me...

    20 mins

  • Dude it would take me 45 years...

  • people who can solve cubes do have a life solving the cube is just their hobby dumbasses

  • prove to me that stupid people can solve it and i'll believe you. oh! i have an idea! if you post a vid solving it, i'll believe you!

  • Wait... how do people solve it blindfolded?? its even about eyes too.

  • are you serious???... I thought that a 3 by 3 cube was hard... I could probably solve that in 389 hours...

  • yes he has a life ur just jealous cuz u cant do that and hes smarter than u...

  • gtarhero- stfu i dnt want to do it I'm not going to waste time to do a 7x7x7 rubiks cube and memorize it!and i am smart I might go to Harvard or somewhere else..

  • u can solve a 7x7 just like a 5x5 u just have to do the edge paring and centers different......

  • fuck you jealous motherfucker he does have a life its a hobby u idiot, im an excellet student, and my hobby is speedcubing also so stfu.

  • not trying to say anything bad about the guy in the the video but there is realll no great intelligence or skill involved in soving a rubix cube. its just a set up step u have to do. learning the steps is the hardest part

  • It looks like a dome cube, lol

  • but how quickly can he undo a girl's bra?

  • rofl, nice call

  • But have you ever seen a man eat his own head?

  • they didnt even come out with a 9x9 dumb ass....

  • lol ur an asshole there isnt a 9x9x9

  • Probably did it on Gabbasoft

  • so what!...solve this problem...

wut haz 1 eye and 1 leg???

  • idk what?

  • holy crap, in freakin credible

  • Wow i worked on a 3x3x3 for like 2 hors and only got one side done

  • That's crazy !!! i have a hard time doing the
