Some people can sing better than others. Some people have shaky fingers, others don't. Some people have ADHD, some don't. It's usually correlated to DNA, being able to play the piano is the same way.

@jpmac098 i didnt imply at any point that you were taught,I taught myself everything i do as well.But as I said, if one intuitively guesses at techniques that speed learning and increase more importantly PPI (Post-practice improvement).Yes some people are born with attributes in their DNA like height, but there is no such thing as the piano gene.My point is that learning is experiential and to do with learning method (consciously employed or guessed at intuitively by just doing it) not a gift :D
