I dont know too much about picture quality but I think that the brightness setting is a little high you should try different light settings too and audio is just terrible.

@warrior92ish not true, galaxy s2 has better audio quality than droid 3 and photon.. BUT you need to replace the stock audio app with a moded one (unrestricts audio bitrate and freq..)

Typical cell phone video quality, although I've seen better. The audio was better than other HTC units, but still subpar. Wish HTC would do something about that. Overall, for a cell phone, not too bad. It's useable for a quick clip or if you're just wanting to shoot something off the cuff. Not a deal breaker by any means.

The smoggy conditions weren't helping I'm sure. Ideally I think several conditions would be cool to test. ie night with lights like a concert, bright sunny day, and an over cast cloudy day.

The audio was pretty bad a lot of crackle the video quality is not that fantastic either. Good sample.
