We planned on confronting one of the people that were in this hotel, but we decided against it (Thinking it'd be five drunk frat guys). Thinking about it, if I was smart I would have gone to the hotel room and just told the guy "I get to deck you once clean in the face as payback -- That, or have a felony record...hurt for a day or hurt for years?". In the future I'll keep that deal in mind.

That's out of control! I've been hit with a laser on about a 5 mile final. It was hard to see the airport afterwords. We reported it to the tower, who reported it to the FAA, who called me for a report a few days later. The authorities, and the aviation community take this very seriously. You can get charged with felony endangerment for it.

My advice is avoid the local police and go straight to a government level, I wrote to all the local Parliament for that area to push the issue and it is moving forward.
