I must admit that I heard this song on HIMYM but it’s such a beautiful song that I forgot where I originally heard it. Even though Christmas was two days ago I can’t stop playing this song. It is hauntingly beautiful. I don’t give a fuck where I heard it... what’s important is that I heard it... and that I love it!

i prefer it to music you hear on the radio as well but that's not to say you can't enjoy commercialized music too. although most of it does, not all of it sucks. to each their own i suppose. i don't quite have the time i used to have to search the underground and as a musician and a huge music lover, i find myself grinning from ear to ear when i hear a great song such as this one by simply watching a show i enjoy just as much as the band.

I guess it kinda sucks that good music is being found through a sitcom, but I love HIMYM for their OST. Some good music in there.

@TheJeannag why does it matter where good music is found? MMJ is an amazing band and for their music to be featured on a show such as HIMYM is an accomplishment to them i am sure. so many people hate that their little gems are being heard by the mainstream because TV shows use their music but i don't get why it matters to them so much.

@behc87 Fair point. I just think its a little disappointing that majority of people don't actually know of some music that is really good, and need to find them through shows. I go out of my way to find obscure music because I prefer it to commercialized music, so for me its just sad that most people would rather listen to whatever's on the radio instead of finding music they can truly enjoy =]

@TheJeannag I think this is a little holier than thou don't you? Its like making fun of someone at the gym for not lifting as much or running as far as you... at least they are there and not at home scarfing down fudge. In essence, be glad people are listening to it regardless of where they found it... MMJ had to agree for it to be on the show, clearly they're ok with it

@behc87 Agree to disagree? =] I'm not saying MMJ or HIMYM or any of it is bad. I'm just saying I find it disappointing that different music isn't as popular to be heard on the radio, and that people who don't know of such music can only hear it when it's in an OST. I should say that I get a little annoyed regarding this topic, because almost every one of my friends listens to 'clubbing' music and I really can't stand it anymore lol.

@TheJeannag we can do that haha. i wasn't implying you think they're bad though. you remind me of one of my really good friends that i always have these kind of "debates" with.. i guess that if it isn't being heard on the radio, at least it has other avenues such as shows like HIMYM to be heard. i can understand that because i'm from a small town where most of my friends only listen to country or lil wayne and young jeezy. they don't step outside the box much.
