  • @albanyrb I.S.P address leads straight to the local exchange and with a little knowledge in computer software and programming you would be surprised at how much information is out there.

Even a mobile connection registers a hit on a cell tower... 400 meter range from said connection...

18 years in the field of both miltary and civilian communications, fixed and mobile comms... One could say i was an expert.. But my real talent lies elsewhere... Enjoy:)

  • @kevinturvy listen to me you sad old bastard....i ain't intimidated by you....you wrote disgusting comments about a good man like michael watson...and i don't care if you find me..just be very careful about what you say about people it could get you hurt very bad.

  • @cgwhiting Totally agree, not just the comment, get the warped author of the comment removed too, and suspend or ban him from You Tube till he learns some manners.

  • Well...look at that my name is michael watson

  • "It was a gladiators appointment that night" - Class

  • Just realised that I posted the below in relation to the documentary video and not the actual fight video that is also on here but still stand by the comments but also obviosuly want to say that MW is a true inspiration with the way that he fought back and rebuilt his life and even did the marathon, a true champion. Its such a shame but then I don't suppose he wants us to feel sorry for him, far from it.

  • I haven't seen this fight in years. The way Eubank got up to knock Watson down is the stuff of legend. I remember the early nineties and growing up idolising the middleweights as they were, I was always a Benn man myself but have respect for them all. I can never quite decide whether the Benn vs The G-man fight or this one is the best I have ever seen though, or whether its even right to consider them as two of the best fights ever given the outcomes. I suppose they all knew the risks however.

  • It's interesting that Calzaghe and Watson took it up to deal with bullies, and Muhammed Ali because his bike was stolen and Foreman was partially due to someone picking on him. And Nigel Benn I heard say that fear motivates him.

  • Michael Watson is an amazing man and an absolute credit to the human race...

  • you probaly never heard of the name barry penfold but he is my dad he beat michael watson when he was 19 unfortunly my dad got divorced to his wife and it recked his boxing career but my dad know nigel benn and boxed with him

  • at my school u were either with Eubank or Benn, we used to bet on the fights at age 14. Real excitement. I was always with Eubank. He was a real character and people who did not like him just didn't get it and lacked imagination. Normally i hate pretentious arrogant people. But i got Eubank. He was just different and although arrogant u could tell he did respect his opponents and had great dignity along with his extrovert qualities.

  • rings true, ive always liked Eubank above Benn.

watson is different though, a stellar figure, a man for the history books even if he hadnt been hurt.

  • @dianabol75 mate eubank was a great fighter and by the way he was with hearn who's the wanker?????

  • how come benn watson and eubank all had lisps lol

  • benn and eubanks goes down with corrales castillo hearns hagler ali frazier, that magic goin on in the ring when two guys are really giving it their all with big bombs and exchanges of thunder and lighting, when sparks fly, when the shit hits the fan, when fans get up off their seat and jump and yell, thems the types of fights that make boxing fantastic, thrilling and pure animal force in mental agony and defeat to counter the fascianation of triumph and endurance with gratification at the end

  • mcclarren never recovered. shame that two of the best fights ever ended up with people left brain damaged.

  • Did you mean Mcclellan?

  • Watson was very lucky despite everything. He could have just as easily wound up like Benny Paret.

  • could someone plz update me on watson's situation, i mean i really know very little besides he had a tragic ending of some kind similar to the benn v mcClellan story with which i'm more familiar....i am learning more of the exciting former UK middlewts post Minter and am curious to know about Watson, tho i think by the end of this documentary i will know alot more...but thanks for any clarification...cheers

  • Michael is a good friend of mine, he is in good shape and is a fantastic inspiration to thousands, he raises money for charities all over the world, and a pleasure to be around, if you have any questions or comments i would be happy to pass them to him.

  • eubank, watson, and benn were great fighters all around in any country.

  • And Steve Collins.

  • and steve collins

  • Michael Watson is an insperation defying all odds. I read his book, he never lost faith and always knew he would come out on the other side. What a man

  • Sorry to b a twonk but any-one know the dates BBC2 used the bulb intro?

  • As if he meant to put the man in a coma. Idiotic comment. Eubank was gracious and courageous in defeat against Carl Thompson and Joe Calzaghe and lets remember he fought Calzaghe at a weeks notice thank to Steve Collins pulling out.

  • I'm really sorry but Gerald Mclerrans injuries are far more worse and I hope aso much that he recovers as well as michael has...

  • In fairness people, Micheal Watson was a great fighter and it was tragic to see the way it ended. Thankfully he's recovered to the extent that he's got his faculties intact though we've got to acknowledge the iron will of Eubank to win from being behind and absorbing a lot of punishment himself.

  • eubank was fighting on instinct in the watson fight, but to say he put him in a coma is rubbish, i was there what didn"t help watson was that there was fighting around the ring after the fight as they thought it was a set up! the paramedics couldn"t get to him quick enough. eubanks not to blame you twat. and i"m a watson fan!!

  • Ok, but why does that twat have to praise Eubank when talking about this tragic event?? Watson should have won and he was put in a coma and all he has to say "It was a tragedy but you gotta acknowledge Eubank had iron will!" What a dumbass thing to say!

  • you are an idiot

  • Thank you.:S

  • your a fukin idiot saying that as if that was his intentions

  • I didnt say that you tosser!

  • your a clown, boxing is a sport for men, eubank is a gent, and this unfortunate ACCIDENT is just that. watson praises eubank because they are both men who realise what can happen in the ring!

and to say the coma was induced on purpose is rediculas. after this fight eubank was never the same, there was talk of him retiring straight after it aswell

  • you are supposed to be competitive in boxing you idiot. It is foolish to say you cannot be a gentleman and box at the same time. Go away with your English Loser mentality

  • shut your face, eubank is a legend

  • @stokie1000 the coma was induced on purpose by the neuro surgen, because Watson had swelling on the brain, & i presume being in a coma relaxes the body even more, so he can operate. I think the doctor was Peter Hammil.

  • @stokie1000 A sport for men, eh? I personally disagree there,m not just for men at all! :)

  • Yeah, I remember that. I was in high school and saw it on ABC. I had heard of Benn and it was the first I had sen both fighters. It was jab that dropped Benn and people were dissing him because of that. But Benn was tired and I guess you have to factor in Watson having a very good jab. I am a big Benn fan now. Having a DVD of all his knockouts up til the Watson fight. That made Watson's KO of Benn even more impressive. Benn was a beast.

  • Probably my favourite boxer of all time. The main reason I started boxing was watching Watson v Benn back in the day.

Michael was the best of the lot in the golden age of British middleweights. A magnificent jab and counter puncher.

It hurt so much to see what happened to him. The mans talents, strength and character to this day is truly magnificent.

  • you can tell benn has taken too many blows to the head, just by the way he slurs

  • watson would of dominated boxing tragic

  • thanks for adding this, classic!

  • lol! imenth! imenth!

  • My point is a valid one I believe in that to be the best, boxers should fight the best. Like in the heavyweight division when it had credibility. all the best fighters wanted a go at each other, now theres tat many different weights that promoters target the weakes world title and think, ah we can win that, Wasnt Johny Nelson a cruiserweight title holder at one time? I mean come on? Fair play to his handlers but if that doesnt make a mockery then what does?

  • Not sure if you a Calzaghe or a Eubank fan here but Hatton fought over the hill boxers until Mayweather who is in my top 10 of all time by the way and Hatton was outclassed. As for Eubank being the best Benn fought? well if your ranking Eubank above the Gman, then we will strongly have to disagree. Re Hopkins, hes been a legend but hes most certainly over the hill at 43 and even then I thought he by far landed the better shots and should have snook the decision

  • you would have to take into account The Force Watson beat Eubanks 1st time around

  • Iv been a fan of boxing for nearly 40 years and I have to admit, it makes me feel ashamed sometimes how our home grown fighters are protected and then when and if they ever get a shot on the world stage, look totally out of their depth. Mcguigan ducked nelson for years, Joes been shielded and matched against ordinary fighters and 1 over the hill legend. Same with hatton fighting has beens until FMjr and now the same with Khan. At least Benn wanted to fight the best and prove himself beyond doubt

  • Who did Benn fight in the US that was better than Calzaghe or Hattons opponents over there? De Witt, Barkley? Benn's toughest opponent was Eubank, whom a young inexperienced Calzaghe beat. Benn or Eubank never fought the top Yanks super middles like Toney or Nunn or Jamaican McCallum. Benn's opponents in US were way below the calibre of Hopkins or Mayweather. McClellan was a middeweight moving up.

  • i totally argee with u

  • McGuigan is Irish though.

  • No why where they 2nd Rate.

  • hey turd, you better check their ages cause i don't think joe's a spring chicken.

  • Turdanator you thick idiot

  • Ya idiot !!!!!!!!

  • turd.........eat words???....................

  • Obviously a yank that made the comment or a dipstick! Benn, Eubank and Watson were 1st rate fighters. Granite chins, immense punching power and hearts of lions. They were 2nd rate to nobody!

  • To Theturdanator ... m8 u dnt knw shit

  • Benn would have obliterated a backpedaling Nunn, Eubank would have powered Nunn and McCallum out of there (abnormal strength for a middleweight), and the Watson who fought Eubank at White Hart Lane was absolutely IMMENSE and looked unbeatably strong

  • You are right. Micheal Nunn, and also James Toney avoided these guys, because they both knew they would be tough fights.

  • Watson Was A True Great...Legend
