I'm just waiting (impatiently!) for a D406 purchased on ebay a few days ago. I've already ordered the tyres, chimney (black powder-coated), and a smokebox and dart set (from steam4fun). They also sell a set of three brass lamps (two front, one rear-red lens), which are coming next...
@radioroidar Hi, tyres are from Forest Classics (rear angled tread) I mixed these with a straight tread set I had already. The chimney was from Model Enthusiasts look for the Wilesco pages, and chimney stacks - only cost about £7 I think. As you say it does make a big difference to the look.

Very nice, the replacement chimney looks so much better than the stock item, and the tyres look superb. Can you tell me where you got the chimney?
