I still don't get what happened? We played so much better in this game than we did the last half of the season, and even in this game there was some mistakes. I hope Stoops really fixes the problems and makes 2012 a more memorable year than 2011.
OU vs tx - 55/17 - it's called a rout; OU vs ks - 47/17 - it's called a victory - what's the dif? Really, sports writers - OU did what it had to do for another week, a BIG win!
Trey Franks got to turn his head around faster when the ball is being thrown at him. Some passes could easily been intercepted. Also he needs to block better after other receivers make the catch and help with the running game.
Stoops got to rest his players when they have 30 point lead. It's one thing to injure a key contributor. Just take the win. OU just need to win out.
The defense again is still giving up big plays. It's always good defense then they have a huge letdown.
I agree w/ wtfref, it's hard to be motivated for KU after Texas and after what OSU, did to them. Classic case of them playing their best- us playing our worst and still winning by 30...need more Finch though
@mvaclaw Georgia Tech beat them by the same amount as OSU. Also yes Oklahoma beat FSU, but so did Clemson and some unranked team. And Oklahoma only beat Missouri by 10 points at home.

Mizzouri should have been ranked above Texas, they were obviously better. And we beat both Mizzou and Texas. You should think about that....and come up with an original argument.

@hichcoc I don't think that's going to happen. Brent Venables has been doing a great job, especially this year, and he's never given Bob Stoops a reason to doubt him. And Mike will probably persue a career as a head coach for another program. You gotta remember, Mike elevated Arizona. He just had a problems this last several years that were out of his control. I think at a football program that has a better advantages, He'll do great.

@hahnsolo89 Makes all the sense in the world if you can or are able to read the whole thing as opposed to bits and pieces....Since Mike has departed, the team has lost its swag on that side of the ball..It doesn't take a astronaut to decipher that...
