I haven't spoken to my sister's oldest son since a familygathering after the event...he said: "Oh well it was only cleaningladies and such...what's the harm." I eyeballed him and said he was evil and stupid.

I was one of the sifters. Everyday was sad. Finding a ring, a tooth, pieces of a purse. So, sad putting it all together and giveing it to a husband a mother and know this is ALL they have of their loved ones.
WOW!! I feel as speechless and I did that day I was glued to the tv watching the news and praying and crying....The day the world stopped turning for a few hours...
Fresh tears, never thought I could cry again but this poem...Rufus' voice the rise and fall of emotions in it...he's so talented, beyong talented really...Thank you so much for sharing this with us all.
this made me cry,and not only because sep 11 really happened but because of rufus sewell.its the way he brings out the poem.gives me the shivers aswell
gur my perantskeep wandering and asking me @why im watching this if its making mecry" becuase it fucking happened and we cant pretend it didntor avoid any mention of it! the way rufus (Hawloverufussewellsexy) looks at the camera at the end gave me shivers. ver mvoing
that poem somehow makes it all even more real than before. maybe because it's written by someone British (being English myself), it was always horrific but i somehow distanced myself from it. the poem puts you right back in the middle of it all and makes you feel it all over again.

All through the simple power of words.
