The Kent Allman samples with the Miditzer 260 are far superior to the GSO stuff promoted by J. Hardy. A bit of work to get them working to your satisfaction, but well worth it. Nice file, nice playing.
@anglerfly Yes. And no. The MidiTzer is an (free) attempt to make a digital recreating of a WurliTzer Style 216 (2-manual, 10-rank) Theatre Organ. Over all, the program is excellent, the only failing from my point of view is that the default soundfont is a synthesizer-attempting-to-replicate-a-theatre-organ type thing. However one can find things such as the Allman Universal Soundfont which imports real theatre organ samples into the MidiTzer. Hope that helps.
@anglerfly also, i think its a month after you download it you have to pay a few bucks to register, but if you dont have any midi keyboards you'll be fine
nice. have a question. how did you recorded the song? cuz when i try to record something i play in miditzer it will sound bad with lots of scratches and parasytes. thanks
I record with Sony Sound Forge, my input is "Stereo Mix," which records all sounds from speakers, including the microphone. Thus, I ensure the microphone volume is quite low (-inf). Perhaps your audio recorder is poor (eg: Windows Sound Recorder) or your input includes room noise through a microphone.
This is a great organ sound I have downloaded the miditzer prog., and am wondering how I can use it. Did U just plug your keyboard into your computer and play. Could it be that simple. If so I need to get an adaptor, my keyboard is old and has din type plugs for midi in/out. Any info would be helpful.
There is plenty of help for setting up and using Miditzer on the Miditzer Forum, easily accessed from the links on the left of the Miditzer home page.
@tregnier279 The midifile was on my old system (which has been donated). I'm on a mac now, so step #1 is getting the miditzer to flawlessly work on my new system; if I am at all successful, I can attempt another play.

I"ve been a church organist most of my life, but that is one mouth-watering console pic! I love theatre organ, and wish I played the style better.

Yea, I'll have to rerecord it to get the stop action saved, so as soon as I do that I'll send it on.
