  • badass soundtrack

  • Whoever built this museum is retarded.

  • As a Christian, this museum just makes me sad...thanks for sharing!

  • I wish I could go. There's just so much stupid to enjoy. Only in America! ...Or maybe Iran or Turkey.

  • Arnold would be badass in that movie.

  • grrrrrrrr why is it that you americand get all the nutters to laught at

  • I've seen enough detailed reviews of this museum.

I'll only visit it if they put some decent rides in.

Maybe "God's Inferno" - a suspended roller coaster with 6 inversions.

Or "Lake of Fire" - a dark river ride with pyrotechnics and 3 drops (one backwards).

Or "Satan's Railroad" - a massive 4-minute woodie with 45 seconds air time during the ride.

Do that, and I'll happily pay $22 to come to their biblical theme park.

  • Darn, you're giving them ideas!

  • oh and dont forget the gloryhole coaster

  • its just getting nuttier and nuttier.

  • One of Kentucky's main products is corn whiskey... I am seeing a connection.

  • 2 comments just to stir the pot:

    1. That Velociraptor needs some feathers, he's naked!

    2. Adam looks HOT!

  • Wow. Now I wanna go see the museum! :p

  • Every religion has a 'creation myth' and Christianity has its own 'myth' which is perfectly fine to teach as part of a religion. What makes me worried is that they use science, a subject that has NO interest in religions, to back up a claim that ultimatly we can't prove. Science works on repeatable testable facts, not an unexplianed third factor, i.e. God. Prove God and s/he can be part of science. But proof denies Faith and with out faith God is nothing, (look it up)

  • It disgusts me that this place exists, built on pseudoscience and authority bias.

Also, nice music choice, though I much prefer the original version of "God Given" over the remix.

  • Watching this reminded me of a recent discussion I had with a fundie regarding Liberty U in Virginia. I mentioned that teaching students about dinos and humans living together a few thousand yrs ago was disingenuous and fraudulent to it's students. He said:

" A university that allows the belief of coexisting humans and dinosaurs is a university that upholds academic freedom."

Now that's some holy shit right there.

  • The last 3 seconds, with the Arnold voice ... classic.

  • I cannot believe this crap... "the hall of false religions"? Glass houses, people lol

  • You say you are a catholic turned atheist.

I'm a catholic myself, I have even been pious in my childhood; but what I have seen from fundamentalists has deeply disgusted me, and I'm now asking myself questions about my links with my religion, especially since I believe in evolution.

In fact my way of thinling is closer to catharism: I believe in perfectibility, and I hardly believe that a single lifespan is enough to attain perfectibility; moreover some men seem more perfect than others.

  • We use to say that we are generally late in France relatively to the Americans; but concerning religion, I rather think it's the opposite: We are generally more evolved than the Americans in that domain.

A creation museum would have no success at all in France.

II think that it's because we have had very violent wars of religion that we have understood the dangers of fundamentalism.

  • I would agree with that. The French seem to have created a lot of good ideas. Democracy is adopted all over the world now thanks to you guys in France. I would kill to have you medical system here (Australia) too.

  • "Visit the museum when you get a chance. "

Oh yes, I'll visit the creation museum if I get a chance...but it won't be to admire it but to get a good laugh instead!

  • Love that last bit with the posters.

$20 dollars for that!? What a waste.

  • Did they ever consider maybe that wolf in the "World of Corruption" is just hungry and threatened?

Or maybe that guy with the rubber tube in his mouth is about to inject himself with insulin, did they ever think of that?

  • I don't think I've ever laughed so much. I wonder how many starving children they could have helped with the money they poured down the toilet on that work of fantasy??

  • world of corruption...? those are just natural events, deprived people, and decayed bodies for christs sake

  • what did the bottle say at 5:16?

  • Visit the museum when you get a chance.

  • Also slavery, racism, sexism and native american slaughter, good job.

  • but we've come along way, from having a black president, to abolishing slavery, to a female runing for the white house to having an Indian Preservations like the one we happen to have here in the everglades. We are not perfect that's why I'm a believer of Jesuscrist if I was perfect I wouldn't need him I know i'm a sinner. You have valid points I'm not saying u don't

  • The four founding fathers were not Christians. Unless by "founding fathers" you mean all the people that were there when they wrote the Constitution. Do some research. If you were brought up elsewhere in the world, you would probably not be Christian, and you would have analogous ridiculous things to defend your religion that you were brought up with. Smart people don't unconditionally believe what they were told first. Try to see why intelligent people tend to not be Christians.

  • I'm a Catholic, and I fully believe in Evolution.

  • de donde eres yo soy de mayaguez

  • @pacman236 Wait, they were blaming racism, slavery, and the slaughter of Native Americans on atheism? Oh, the irony.

  • All of the founding fathers were either atheists or secular Christians. Look up Thomas Jefferson, there are some very good quotes about how much he doesn't like religion...

  • I am sure not all Americans are religous nutters, it just seems that way.

I think the vast majority of Americans are intelligent reasonable well meaning people

  • This is further proof that America has dissolved into a human wasteland of gullible mindless bots.

  • Please do not hold this place against all people in the state of Kentucky. Some of us are rational educated people and then some of us are not. It just so happens that the majority of people in this state happen to be uneducated and lost in a haze of religous crap!

  • it's not so upsetting that there is a museum that teaches creationism as much as the strong messages inside the museum that blames the world's problems (racism, genocide, hate) on those who don't believe in creationism.

  • You might be surprised how much these museum people are correct .

  • 'Forgive Me Father, I do not know what to do.'

    Legend!

  • Go to the museum .

  • actually its "they know not what they do"

  • O and "me" should be corrected as well to "them"

  • This is borderline unconstitutional for kids to be taught. It's straight up lying to them.

  • HAHAHAHA nice choice of music.

  • the only relativly accurate information in the museum is the plaque under charles templetons book farwell to god

  • That was sooo funny, thanks for making the video. :)

  • Oh My GOOOOOOOD. I'm french and this joke of a museum made the news some months ago and I actually couldn't imagine that it would be THAT bad (well I knew it couldn't be good but still). This is just astounding that it can be called or registrated as a museum.

  • I particularly enjoyed the penguin wandering around the Garden of Eden, and the brontosaurus boarding Noah's Ark. Seems like a treasure trove of poisonous misinformation and lies, denouncing scientific fact in favour of insanity.

"Yes, kids, it was just like 'The Flintstones.'"

  • I'm going next month!

  • Unless you are going for free, don't go. It's too much money to give to them.

  • Oh how much they charge to see??

I will be in Ky anyway thought it would be cute

  • this isnt just a creation museum, its a full on christian propaganda machine.

  • its funny and sad at the same time

  • It's the price we pay for a free society, if the educational system wasn't broken in the first place however, there wouldn't be so many ignorant people falling victim to religions lies in the first place.

  • that is very true.

Its especially sad to see that its obviously targeted at kids.

  • Look, these people actually comprehended the Bible wrong. They don't understand that a day=billions of years in the very 1st part of the Bible since 1 billion years and a day dont make any difference to God.

  • Nope, I don't know any Bible scholars that will say that the six days of creation are anything but six twenty-four hour periods. Most Christians will also concur.

  • Yes, there are lots of people that go with that idea.

For instance the pastor that gave bibleclass on my "highschool". He followed the line of one creation day was billions of years and god made evolution happen.

That you don't know anyone who has that line of thought just shows your own ignorance of difference between groups and people.

Most chistians aren't creationists and most creationists aren't christian.

Although it might be hard to life in red-state-usa and imagine otherwise...

  • most creationists would disagree with you.

  • Hahahaha your Arnold impersonation at the end was pretty awesome. Glad you made it out alive.

  • Wow. I'm a Christian and a creationist and I know that's screwed up.

  • well, that's creationism for you. anti-reality delusions.

  • Mmmm I think that this museum is actually a good idea if you want to take advantage on the growing phenomenon of fundamentalism in a economical context. Maybe they are no so stupid after all.

  • elanus:

the leaders are not stupid at all, they know exactly what they're doing. just like televangelists and faith healers, they know they can make tons of money by pandering to the faithful with all kinds of myths and stage tricks.

they know they're lying, they know they're using straw men against evolution, they know their theories have been demolished, but they'll be damned if that's going to stop them from making some money and gaining influence over the easily swayed congregations.

  • It's a good idea, but the people there comprehended the Bible wrong.

  • This is quite the free advertising and close to 100 views so far. It's kind of like when christains ban a movie, it makes people all the more curious and the movie makes bank. I've heard that the protests on the creation museum's opening day brought in thousands of dollars and tons of free news coverage. Keep up the good work guys.

  • I'm sure that most people that see this video are just thinking "Wow, this is retarded" and are not actually going to go to the first museum in history that lacks fact.

  • Oh, but we will - it's much cheaper than Disneyland :)

  • I have to mention that various prophecies in the bible have failed to come true, such as Jesus' prophecy about the end of the world etc. in Matthew 24 which was supposed to happen within a generation of him saying it. Nearly 2000 years off and counting...

  • It is a pity the camera work is so shaky.

  • "Santa for adults"

    Fish to Wolf To WHALE.

    Fairy tale for grown ups.

OH! Not to mention the string theory.

Has this note reached the right universe yet?

  • Yes. "Fish to Wolf To WHALE" You didn't know that? Well, you do now. :-)

  • Creationists and IDer's a so fucked up. Santa for adults.

  • ahh, delusion at its best (worst?) funniest anyway, thx for another vid GNB,you`re awesome Keep it up :)

  • I love the sign that says "creation - 6,000 years ago"... hahahaha... never mind the paleolithic cultures of 30,000 years ago. Carbon dating vs. a fairy tale. hmmm...

  • Another greate production ;)

Is that a remix of God Given, or is it just poor quality?

Silly Christians thinking they own the world.

  • It's a remix.

  • The "Hey, kids, let us show you the TRUTH about creation" aspect of it all is what scares me most.

  • I wonder how many homeless could be sheltered for $22 million.

  • It's gods plan that they are homeless. Stop trying to play god!

  • Its just sad that I live literately 15 miles or so from this huge house of lies (I live in NKY). Thanks for the video because I won't come anywhere near this thing.

Just about nothing in that place is remotely true, its pretty much all fabricated lies to support ID. It just gets worse with that huge room bashing with the typical things Christians love to bash, such as Stem Cell Research, Abortion, Science, and Atheists. I'll just go to the Cincinnati Museum and forget about this pack of lies...

  • 27 mill waste of money

  • thanks for a look inside this den of lies and hypocrisy GNB!!

you should definitely post this as a video response...any suggestions? I'm thinking the famed Dawkins clip where he refutes the creationist exhibits in liberty university

  • GOD INCORPORATED

  • Penguins in the Garden of Eden! AWESOME, "ITS HOT!!!... GOD WHY DID YOU PUT ME HERE?! WHY DO I HAVE A BEAK IF WE CAN ONLY EAT LEAVES! AM I A JOKE!?"

I love the Music. Its... EXTREME!!!!!!! AHHH!!!!!

  • Wait a minute, TORNADOES are one of teh signs of corruption? Excuse me, but wouldn't a tornado be GOD'S fault if there is one? Isn't HE the one in charge of that sort of thing?

Also, my brother's a Theist and he's a drug adict and convicted criminal. He sins WAY more than I do.

  • and OMG the "Human Reason vs God's Word" was priceless.... Lol its an assault on reason. Also, did you notice that the font they used on the word "attack" (near the beginning) was in similar design with that of middle eastern texts? That was called to mind immediately and I'm betting they wanted to pass that feeling on as well, albeit subconscious for some...

  • HAHA I like that penguins existed with what appeared to be antelopes... I also think you should have questioned someone, "Soooo... every animal was a herbivore at one time? Reeeaallllyyy?" I also like the giraffes being followed by the brontosauri... Great stuff man!

  • Ahhh, they believe in the Flintstones...

    Katalyzt

  • Was any of the funding done by corporations??

  • Yes, sadly, by a group called "Answers in Genesis". They payed $22 million to create this pack of lies and ignorance.

  • Great video, I like the penguin. Hopefully, that wasn't one of those evil gay penguins from that "And Tango Makes Three" book.

  • This literally scares the fuck out of me. how is this "museum" legal? Where do they get their funding? Who backs this project? I hope the children that visit here aren't perminently scarred by the visit.

  • Private investors, and super churches.

  • It scares me too, I don't see how Boone County even let them build this. Also, they got their funding from a Evangelical extremist group called "Answers in Genesis", who probably got the $22 million from sucking people's money at mega-churches. Also, I find this kind of brain washing practically child-abuse, especially the "hate" room that tells them Atheists, Scientists, pro-choicers, homosexuals, etc. are evil and vile. As if being an Atheist here was hard enough...

  • Mental euthanasia of unsuspecting youth brought willingly by the guardians charged with protecting the truth. Force shuttled ignorance brought to bare on unsuspecting children who don't yet know how to care. Mental Euthanasia It's not child abuse, its murder.

  • The $20 is why I haven't gone.

I remember that dinosaur.. they used to tour around the country.

    disturbing indeed.
