Supposedly this is the same piano as the dgx 230, just this piano is slightly more expensive because they sell it at retailers like Guitar Center, as opposed to the dgx (also by Yamaha) that they sell at mass distributers like Wal-Mart. There is no clarification that I've seen yet whether or not the USB cord comes with this piano, or how it works with garageband, if it actually does.
@aPimpnamedCrawlDaddy I was considering buying the ypg-235 until i saw your comment, what exactly do you mean? It sounds weird that one can record 6 tracks but not transfer songs INTO the keyboard and OUT of the keyboard to a PC/Mac. Can you kindly clarify what exactly sucks on this keyboard ? thnx.
Does anyone know if this will work as a midi controller for Reason?

I got mine at Fry's Electronics for $249.99 and it didn't come with the Ac power adapter or the USB cable.

i have this keyboard for 2 years and i must say it sucks that you cant transfer songs in the user section.
