Is colloidal silver supposed to be bitter in taste? Also, is a gold color desirable? Or should it be clear?

Anyone try to make CS and end up with clear water with what looks like iron fillings at the bottom ot the glass? Please help.

The electrodes should not be touching the bottom of the container. What water are you using? - you must use high grade distilled water. This will then produce clear colloidal silver.
