@CristaCSullivan kudos for looking up my video, the difference that seems to be escaping you is im not trying to pass that off as a cool video. it was for a final project in an engineering class, this however is meant to be cool and artsy, but its not. there should be more footage of metric actually playing the song and less of the repeated animations and shots of a human heart.

@zeppelin037 One of the most frequent lines in the song is "My heart keeps beating like a hammer". Constant imagery of hearts in the video now makes sense. And videos of just the band playing are boring because there's usually a story to the song, and the point of a music video is to show that story. This one's more just imagery and symbolism I think though. Finally, this is art. It just differs from your taste in art.
