@fourtheverest you o realize that if you don't handle a baby ferret right it will still nip when it gets older, also the baby that had its fingers chewed off, its parents left the baby alone with the ferret, and if I'm not mistaken have been in trouble before for being irresponsible. Why the hell would you leave any baby unattended with any animal. No matter how cute, cuddly, and loving it is. So to be honest its the parents fault. And id love to see the day that child realizes that =)

@fourtheverest The baby finger incident was this summer,and the ferret DID NOT eat the babies fingers.The asshole who killed the ferret shoved ground meat down it's throat after he killed it.There was no human tissue to be found...besides,having had ferrets for 20 some years,it would take hours of chewing for that to happen,not to mention nearly no ferret in my experience would see a finger ass food,even if nearly starved(and I've seen several as I used to rescue ferrets).

@TheLouipooi ferrets only smell bad if you're uneducated. They are related to skunks and have the same scent gland. That gland is removed when ferrets are sold as pets, therefore no smelly ferret. Otherwise, the only smell is from their litterbox. And that goes for any animal. It won't smell bad if you clean it.
