Li pos have clear warnings on them re charging and their use. I am in no doubt that the video is real. Some shops even sell li po charging bags for use to stop explosion and fire damage when they are being charged.........!

Imagine this happening in your pocket? It would suck big time. Mobile phones, MP3 players, digital cameras all use exactly the same LiPo battery technology as this exploding R/C.
Plus laptops use quite big LiPo batteries which can explode, maybe bigger than what's in the video.
actually the consumer world such as phones and computer what have you use Li Ion batteries not Li Poly lithium Ion's are a little less tempermental than lithium polymers
