I was a HUGE Danny fan....and after Danny sang "You Are So Beautiful", I thought for sure he was going to be in the finale and maybe win it all. I thought nothing could top Danny's performance. Then Kris came on and sang this song. I remember like it was yesterday...my (then) boyfriend and I were sitting on the couch, he looked at me and said, "Uh oh, honey..." I looked back at him and said "Shit." Not going to lie, this was amazing. This is probably his signature song (from the show).

There's no doubt Adam did better on this show overall....but this particular performance is what makes Kris a winner to me.

1. His previous performance that night was horrible

2. He takes a huge risk by coming out on his own, just him and his guitar, no back up of any kind at all

3. He ends up performing a version of the song that is better than the original

I like both Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. They have a huge difference in their voices, but they are both amazing. Adam Lambert is more for the rock-like songs and Kris Allen is a bit more soul/pop. But seriously, I don't get the fight between who's the best. They are both amazing, and they both will get an amazing career.
