thats because you didn't change the dip switch settings to get more tones

@computer5892 It doesn't have a dip switch, just 3 contacts; Tone 1, common, Tone 2. You have to connect the one wire to common and the other one to tone 1 or tone 2 depending what tone you want

first tone, and at 30v. I love to open the fire panel up and short the cables to start the alarm! :)

@Robobbly Yes, flashnis are 24V. Actually the range of their operating voltage is 18 to 30VDC!

I'd love that as my alarm clock.  Listening to it just once would annoy the hell out of me and get me out of bed. No hitting the snooze button -- wouldn't want to hear it again

The last one sounds like FCI panels where I used to live when there was an issue with the sprinkler system and the Rutland, Vermont fire department came to disable the sprinkler zone.

And probably when the second floor zone was disabled, because of the Pyrotector smoke detector in the upstairs back hallway was triggered for no apparent reason at 77 Park St. (across the street from 74 Park St.) The sprinkler problem was at 74 Park St.
