Sunday night I was at the concert in Eindhoven. As composer and pianist myself I experiience this kind of music mostly at stage playing myself. This time I could relax, sit down in the audience and enjoy. The combination of piano, strings and electronics was wonderful. And yes it is a perfect evening for musical meditation.

That was an absolutely first class experience at the Sage- including the audience of all ages and all kinds of people and some in Hallowe'en outfit, I get emotional again when I think about it- told my mates in A'dam to get tickets for next week- one of my best concerts ever, and i am not 20 lol...! will definitely go again, no question x

I saw Ludovico last night, the first half was certainly much more about his new nightbook project, I thought the mood and in intro was apt to his more sonic expressive approach. I think the use of synthesis could have been more exploited in the live setting, and the 2nd half and encore was a bit much, but I cannot fault his performance!If anyone wants to hear some of my own piano compositions, check out my link.
