i was suprise to hear, she is not anymore, in the performance. she return to the hometown. kwa kweri ni saaad! huyu LADY. ambaye amechangia saaana, katika fani ya muziki,Tanzania. mbali na sauuuti nzuuri!! aliyoonayo, bali pia kwa hari ya juuu, kwenye utamaduni na sanaaa ya mtu mweusi.
first time i heard this song i was in kissi express headed to nairobi, it will go into the annals of history as one of the best songs to come from east africa, i can listen to this song over and over and over ....till infinity.
Does anyone knows the singer where at the beggining this woman sign herself in front of a church & after she is next to what is like her greatmother looking like an old indian & after it is all super beautyful dancing !it sounds like from Tanzania but being ignorant i am not sure !if you know pls be kind to tell me !the singer is beatyfull but cant recognize her !thx
am from tanzania well half coz am half congo and this song is about 2 people who fell in love and they vowed 2 each other nothing wud separate them but only death will do them apart and mwenye wizu ajinyonge - who is jealous 2 hang themselves well hope dat can do
i can only transalate a part of it which is in Swahili otherwise we need to ask Tanzanians from Kagera (Bukoba) region, I mean the Hayas, or Uganda's Ankole people (coz their language is closely related to Haya) to help us get the meaning of this song.
big up Saida Karoli, big up Tanzania(craddle of mankind)-authentic Africa;the land of Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar,Udzungwa,Kilwa,Tarangire,Arusha,Dar es Salaam,Katavi,Gombe,Mkomazi,Serengeti and Ngorongoro!
