I saw the movie a few nights back and Danny Boyle was right when he said the reason he thought the audience could handle the amputation scene was because you've been through that hell with him to that point. When that scene came on half of me thought "god that's fuc*ing awful" but the other half was like "At a boy cut that bastard arm off and get the F*** out of there!" thanks for the upload
