The IGA closed down for good in June 2009. The building is still there up for lease though.

No, it was replaced by another store a few months ago. I think it may have been in the summer.

@Kerpymon the IGA was removed last year unfortunately. I moved last August, so I don't know what it was replaced by. I can ask though.

Visited Lethbridge once in the early 1970's when I was a kid. It was summer and the grocery store I went to sold firecrackers. Firecrackers in the summer, I couldn't believe it.
