good video, it appears to be a resistive touchscreen but ok nonetheless. The rumoured ARCHOS Android Phone tablet sporting a 4.3 inch capacititve touchscreen really is set to be the most anticipated Android device ever in the 800 pixel terroitory, so it should be up there with the XPERIA X3/N900/HTC HD2/ACER F1 and the rumoured HTC Dragon. Oh, times are exciting for smartphones, I gave up on ordinary mobile phones a long time ago! notice I didn't mention the flawed and hyped iphone

What web browser is that? is it from android? or Archos proprietary software? please, let me know if you can actually play youtube HD videos??? Thank you. that's what sis holding me back from archos tablet 9, I know it lags.

Its the Android browser.

I have seen the Archos playing back H.264 from 800kbps to 2.2mbps. I assume, the high bitrate videos are HD. The very high bitrate videos do put a strain in the device and can be choppy on a device running muiltiple aps. you Aren't able to FFW/REW or download a copy.

well using my ipod touch when scrolling its quite smooth, with the hardware the archos andrioid has surely the software could be matched.

Apart from the fact that the iPhone diesn't multi-task and the Archos does. A free-for-all OS isn't good for UI. Let's hope that Android updates address this.

Well, the reason iphone does everything it is supposed to do very well done is for the fact that it doesn't multi task, for this reason I believe mobile device should not multi task. I've used a lot of windows mobile, palm, etc. and i'm very impressed with iphone, same speed in the morning and afternoon. But I need a bigger screen, made this thing will do.

the scrolling motion doesnt seem smooth, like say the ipod touch

i am guessing the reason for that is the resistive screen.. but it could also mean the rom isnt allocated well enough but it can be rectified in future updates for sure :)..
