  • Love it! Funny how to an ignorant person like me, it sounds like a blend of Celtic and French:D

  • I just finished reading Stolen Continents by Ronald Wright. It covers more of the history of the Iroquois but it also touches on the Hurons. If you are looking for more history on the topic, I recommend it.

  • Great doco but I would lose the song about Jesus and the Devil. That was the religion that was forced down our throat. If we didnt accept it we were slaughtered. So we were forced to accept. It is not true - it is the lie that has corrupted the entire world.

  • I am a descendant of the Wendat/Erie/Attiwwandaronk Nation that lived in Northwestern corner of Ont ar io. Proud to hear the language of my people.

I wonder if the woman singing this knows how to speak Wendat language. Is she a Wendat descendant. Iesus Ahatonia means Jesus is born. Most of the black robes brought their beliefs into my ancestors territory. Most believed the black robes were evil and brought negative energy with them.

  • great vid buddy...it pleased me,because I have a little bound to Hurons...uncle of my grand-grandfather was huron...I dont know anything about him, shame.
