yes what a waste of good meat!!!!!!!! I found out that he is the cleaner/dishwasher boy there in the kitchen and they shot the video after the shop is closed!
these steaks look delicious. its always amazed me that some people think that although every other meat is better cooked (except some fish) steak is somehow different. how about a rare roast? of course not...
I didn't think the video was *too* awful until he started pressing all the juices out of the last steak. What the hell was that?
Salt seasoning, I'm down. Pan searing, cool. Everything after that was just wrong. If your pan is hot enough to sear its way too hot for butter. If you turn steaks that often it will cook through faster but you won't get a good crust, which defeats the purpose of searing.
3:09 that is rare, thats horrible, never knew there r people who eat steak like this....thats just horrible....no wonder people suffer from heart disease, cancer etc.
Righto, Put about 4 tablespoons of salt on to draw out all the juices. Then boil the steaks in butter to toughen them up and continue to turn them about 1000 times. Last of all break the sealed surface and squash out any remaining tenderness. Whalla!! Burnt to a crisp on the outside, raw in the middle and rubbery as old boots. Sirlion aint cheap, I just want to choke this guy!
@floydzepdeep Flipping the steaks a lot doesn't dry them out, contrary to popular opinion, and the butter adds good flavor. I'm with you about the squashing, but they look pretty tasty to me!
Look like he added to much salt, I would cook my steak totaly opposite how he cooked it. Where is the sautee mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers? I would also make a sweet potatoe puree. I would also add Jack Daniels or some Brandy Lique'r to my steak.
Prefer my steak WELL DONE. Why some people eat there steak's medium rare, isnt there some air bourne bacteria issues cooking your steak medium rare? It says on food packages to cook your food throughly. Why do people eat there eggs over easy, it says on the egg carton's too cook eggs throughly to cook the bacteria out. Eh medium rare Bloody, Eh eggs over easy Slimy bacteria. I apologize if I offended anyone who eats there food that way, Can someone please explain this to me
The perfect way to cook a steak is however you personally find it to be most delicious. That being said, nearly every chef would disagree with these methods.
I hve to agree with spamweary! You did break everything I've been taught in the last 6 months, that the Cooking channel and Food Network teach by 8 out of 10 chefs!

Brilliant I must say! Cheers for adding butter idea. I love steaks, but the restaurant prices are ridiculous, however the meat prices are reasonable if you shop in Sam's Club wholesaler. Don't you wish there was such a thing as smell-o-vision?
You know, smell what your watching. It would be perfect for cooking shows.

@7xXSE7ENXx7 That is what rare is supposed to be. Just when you ask for rare in a pub or something it come out more medium than rare. Go to france and ask for rare and thats what you get
