It's not privately, he probably sells at a vendors booth at regionals and such. And you need a VENDORS liscence to actually sell cards at events, just like your locals pays money for it.
Would getting rid of something you only have one of count as an extra deck staple? Ex: I have a scrap dragon i bought for 30 (ultra unlimited) it's my only one I'm playing plants I'm using it and someone wants to buy It off of me for 35-40 in that case would I not care and sell it? Or keep it cause it's a mandatory extra deck staple for plants
Before 5D's was premiere, Royal Oppression is trashed and sold for as low as $0.10 a card. After the introduction of many synchro monsters, price for Royal Oppression goes up as high as $8 a card. I stashed 20 of ROs and made tons of money. I wished I had more to sell.
@thefirsthokage6 maybe you should reread the comment again cuz your jot making sense? oh im a 23 yr old guy who is selling yugioh stuff nice accomplishment... props goes to you.
@JunkWarrior17 your mad cuz you doing this shit to i didnt know it was hard to get an application from burger king that people have to resort to selling crap like this wtf?
Ok, you say it is bad to buy boxes / packs. How can you start a collection that way? I have 60 useless commons and a mediocre non-competitive GK deck that is improving... still getting better cards off the net. So how can i start a solid trade binder? Buying singles off the internet? or packs? Remember - the only thing I can do is buy singles or packs extra cheap.
i wanna know how u started off. did u just slowly make a small binder and grow or did u spend money on a decent binder and use it to ur advantage?? also what do you believe is a good amount of money to spend on ur binder
John 12:46 : "I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. 47 And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world."
Turn away from sin & seek Jesus. Time is short. The next natural disaster could be at your place...
Can you answer these questions in the next video! In terms of value, how much do you pay for each card? 60 percent? Also, when you go to locals, how much cash do you have on you on average. And, how much is a good amount to spend on a binder to make it respectable?
btw ebay completed listings vary between countries too, compared to the us, there are some cards that sell for cheaper/more expensive in the uk. just my 2 cents :)
you forgot to mention making money by creating traffic to your youtube channel by having people like and comment your videos then getting paid by google ad sense
Honest Question, With Priority going away, and the ban list needing a face lift because of it, how do you think this will affect the prices of popular cards now, and what cards that are not so popular would go up in value?
@ericthebest1500 Buying packs is just about the worst way to go about getting profit. Over half the packs in a box contain only commons and rares and even the supers and above aren't guaranteed to be sellable or tradable. Buying boxes is definitely better than buying packs because you can usually get the same number of packs for a discounted price and are at least guaranteed some ultras and above.
One thing you didn't mention in the video (though you may mention in future videos) is that having good relationships with other players and good players can help you sort of get the upper hand in trades, just on the merit of you being more well respected. BEING one of the better players at your locals also helps because people will come to you with their card needs, will trust you more easily on your prices, and gives you control. It also gives you the confidence to make good deals. Just my 2¢!
@iTzMAvERiiCkz yes because that way, u gain a shit load of recognition. and if u have a shit load of recognition u will most likely have more customers or traders.
@MagicalNinjaMime93 I look at my comment, and I forgot the 'about' in between the 'care' and 'though' if that's what you're talking about. I posted that so he would know and he could change his title.
