Yul Brynnan sure seems weird to be acting like that in his Gunslinger role. It confuses me to see him like that as opposed to how he was in Westworld. It's just awkward.
@sugarlemonpie very narrow imaginative of you, that's on the contrary quite original, in fact that vicious role of his in the Westworld is somewhat grotesque, he doesn't really give an impression of a bad guy, and that particular footage complements him to the extent of some romantic warrior. Moreover, director of Westworld showed you how unmercifully even for a robot he was shot like three times. After that i felt no pity for the guys. Try to see the sense behind. Even if it wasn't meant to be.
Also i dare to state that this particular flick seems to be the best piece of the entire movie. Idea although is original, but the acting is poor and overall material is badly presented. So yeah, on the background of all that boredom it makes me feel it's not a part of that movie at all. And for the final judgement: Westworld leaves Futureworld behind. No matter what they say, but still the first one is better by all the means. Except for that particular flick.
Hey, are those surgeons from Dead Ringers?

They should have had Yul Brynner's face fall off while she was kissing him.

I have this on DVD, along with Westworld. Not as good as Westworld, but worth a spin.
I love '70s cheesey sci-fi flicks. Wonderful!!
