Get some experience risking money on the stockmarket of trading currencies.. maybe it will help you find out whether the field is for you.

I've been paper trading currencies and stocks for the past two years, though I'm sure the fear factor is much much more extreme w/ real money. My REAL fear is that I end up hating the job given to me. The annual salary for traders is 40k (much too low for the stress and mental challenge IMO). I'm going to a state school due to finances so my chances of landing an IB job is extremely low already. Sure an IB job would be great, but what's that compared to being a doc (which I also enjoy).
