  • What people say about EMG's being toneless and bland and basically a one trick pony is crap.

  • @mactavishc Not sure where you heard that from, but EMGs sound great, especially for rock/metal.

  • @Xpl0ReRChR

It's just what people throw around a lot online. It's complete bullshit.

  • your awesome !! <3

  • @SickMetalAddict And you're very kind! I'm glad you liked this, thank you! :)

  • Stets Bar Trem ??

  • Très bon son, c'est quoi comme vibrato sur ton explorer ???

  • That sounds nice , I m wishing to make my sweet child intro sound like that but , I use single coils , BTW , which pickups are more desirable for Bon Jovi kinda sound or what u just did , EMG or DiMarzio ? Thanks

  • χαχαχα!αυτο ειναι το πρωτο βιντεο που ειδα μετα απο 4 χρονια<3

    σ'αγαπω<3

  • Awesome guitar! How much i it cost?

  • this is just too awesome ... all your guitars are amazing and the tone is incredible!

  • Thank you for your kind words my friend! :)

  • i just finished this song good job

  • Hi, nice cover!! what version of the tubeman you have, the one with tree foot switchs or one foot switch, thanks.

  • Thanks a lot my friend :D

Hmm... mine would have to be the one with the single foot switch.

  • awesome nice job dude wish i could get a peddle like that what kind you use?

  • solo is way off but it still sounds good the way you played it. did you improvise for the solo

  • The only solo that is improvised is the last solo, after the "where do we go now" part. The rest is pretty much like the original, just slightly changed.

Thank you for your comment :)

  • Can you use your Fender + H&K Tubeman for Heavy Metal too? WOuld you recommend the Tubeman?

  • The Hughes & Kettner Tubeman is truly exceptional, and is suitable for all kinds of music. I've tried to play Metal using it with the Fender, and even though the Fender's sound doesn't get very hard, it comes pretty close. When using it with my Gibson LesPaul, or the Explorer, (for Metal) the sound is absolutely terrific!

I would definitely recommend the Tubeman, it's magnificent.

  • Thank you very much for your kind words, I'm glad you liked it! :)

  • good cover dude!!

  • Thanks Logan! :]

  • dang man, you nailed that solo! 5 stars!

how do you like the stetsbar? i'm thinking about getting one for either my tele or another project guitar i have.

  • Thank you man! :)

The stetsbar is excellent, it's truly one of the best tremolo systems you can get and is definitely worth it! If you're having second thoughts about it, all I can say is go for it :)

    Thanks again.

  • does it still stay in tune even without a locking nut or fine tuners?

  • loved the movie

  • very nice man. You nailed almost completely, (4 stars) check out my drum videos.

  • Thanks dude!

Yeah, I will check your videos!

  • @ tubycosmos

I accidently removed your comment. Here's the answer to it:

True, there's no overdrive on the Fender Champ, and it's mostly the tubeman that's getting the tone. Of course, the EMG 85&89 pickups I've got on this Gibson Explorer are definitly "enforcing" the tone, and are ideal for heavier sounds as well.

I definitely recommend the Tubeman for all kinds of sounds (including Metal). If you're thinking about getting one... well think no more :)

Oh and thanks for your comment:)

  • good job, how long did it take you to learn the entire song? cause i can play most of it but there's no way i could piece it all together and play it as good as you do

loving that explorer by the way!

  • Took me about 2-3 days, I already knew pretty much the whole song except for the solo parts!

Thank you very much my friend :)

  • Awesome!!! Thanks for posting.

    Grandma Mary

  • you are very underrated you need more subscribers because this was just kick ass 10/5

  • Woah thank you very much, I'm really glad! :)

  • what is it exactly

  • Well it would be The Tubeman 1.

  • Is it Tubeman 2? that you use

  • Hey thanks for your comment :)

No it's not the Tubeman 2.

  • really good

  • Thank you very much! =]

  • Wow very nice. how did u learn how to play guitar?

  • Thank you!

Well I started off being instructed by my father for the first 2.5 years. He is no professional, what he basically taught me was chords and how to play songs. Then I decided it was time I had lessons to learn scales, more songs, to improve my speed... overall my technique. That's why since then (1.5 years) I've been having lessons with Theodore Ziras.

  • great job

  • Thank you so much!

  • φιλε μου καλη δουλεια και περαστικα για το χερι σου..τα λεμε στο σχολειο....

  • awesome job, but this song has one of those solos that you dont improv over. 5*

    -mark

  • Thank you! I didn't really improvise it, just a short segment of it.

    Thanks again =]

  • mpravo adelfe..

  • S'eyxaristw poly file mou!

  • Very unique sound you got out of fthat Explorer if those re stock pickups id have to say thats the coolest sound and u played it well

I know this song is meant for the Les Paul but i have to say i Love the explorer sound

    M.

  • Thanks!

Those aren't the stock pickups actually, those are EMG 85&89 (active) pickups! That's probably what helped the tone!

Yeah both the LesPaul and the Explorer have magnificent sound, but I tried this one out with the Explorer and turned out pretty well!

    Thank you again! =]

  • God, I'd kill you for that guitar kid, lol, And anothr great cover, Slash would be proud!

  • Really glad you liked this! =]

  • Hey mate!

Watched the whole vid! Though its not my type of music really (bit slow :p)

I really enjoy you playing this flawless!

    Another great video

    Keep it up.

  • Thank you very much!!

  • You play this song so good, it's one of my favourites to play on guitar also. I'm not too bad at playing this song but i don't have the right guitar to make it sound like yours, i play a fender stratocaster

  • Thank you so much man, really appreciated! =]

Hmm... I really think the Strat can do a bit of everything (from Blues to Hard Rock and so on), I've got one too and I really like it. My Explorer has a more heavy sound, especially thanks to its EMG 85&89 pickups.

Thanks for commenting & rating again! =]

  • Did you try putting ure strat set at the neck(top) pickup with the tone set to 0

that should help with getting the "slash' les paul tone

  • awesome cover, nice solo ;D

  • Thanks a lot!!

  • οπως παντα γαματος φιλε μου.....

  • Amazing, slash can be proud :)

  • Thank you so much my friend :))

  • Getting better every time!

  • Glad to hear this, thank you!

  • "Sweet sound o'mine" with that Gibson!!

    The EMG's are amazing.

  • Yep, it's not only a Gibson! It's a Gibson with EMG's! It really has awesome tone and feel, one of the best guitars I've ever played!

  • AWESOME play.indeed, the solo was wonderful.Slash will be jealous if he sees your video

  • Yeah I really did like how the solo turned out. :)

"Slash will be jealous if he sees your video"

That's really flattering but I don't think that would ever happen :)

    Thanks again for your comment!

  • kala poli gamato bravo rei...
