I saw this movie when i was about 7 years old, And i remember at the end, the Lady put some kind of exsplosive thing together and blew the alien up. But i didn't remember seeing the part when he was gonna shoot his own son then changed his mind.
@Screenedit I was wondering if I was misinterpreting. This was the first scene after the credits and the father was taking aim at his son? Their disagreements didn't seem that serious.

I remember this from a drive in and late night tv. Cool alien-and the same guy who played the Predator played him.
