It's an impressive feat of image recognition tho. He came clean in the Scorehero IRC and while it was shitty to pass it off as a real run, it's nonetheless impressive. He basically has a computer playing it in realtime without programming it beforehand for the specific note chart. It'd be interesting to see this setup for the PS2, handling some of the more ballbusting customs.
