Martyn writes exceptional songs and plays and exceptional game of golf. I believe he played for Wales as a boy and has a single figure handicap. Sky would be mad to ignore this beautiful song-but hey the media understand nothing about song writing and performance especially when it comes to the acoustic scene. Their loss.

Whilst the 'Great Game' may have never taken hold of me personally, one thing that never fails to is the music of Martyn Joseph. I don't recognise every face here but I recognise the looks of elation and purpose common to all who share a passion and desire to succeed at what they do. Together with the beautiful and heartfelt performance of a tender homage to the game and Martyn's homeland, it makes for a tremendously moving song.... sublime.
