Nice work with that, I always am a fan of when people arrange classical solo piano for bass. My one critique is that the melody should be played a lot more legato. As it is, the notes sound too staccato, which really interrupts from the flow of the whole thing. I can't really tell because of the lighting on my monitor, but if you aren't already, making use of all 4 fingers in your right hand is a good way to make it smoother. Just my opinion, good job otherwise.

The tapping is coming along nicely. I would just look into killing the gain a bit when you record, all of the low parts are distorting and killing the sound. Very nice tone on the high part though. Keep it up.
