Can't believe a friend of mine thinks Oasis are the best U.K band of the last 30 years!
The Monkeys piss on Oasis from the highest hight. This song exemplifies this. The sort of track you think might be the last you ever hear! Creepy, Inteligent, Profound, Neverending. Alex Turner is the best songwriter of our generation.
@evil2707 oh my god FINALLY someone agreeing with me! i always thought it sounds like a mafia film song, especially the intro. while listening to it i often have pictures of Dont Look Now in my head. yeah ok not neccessarily mafia, but definitely venice...
Amazing song. It gives me emotions I can't describe. It's wonderful. Arctic Monkeys are great musicians not only for rude rock'n'roll and this is the evidence.
"watching his exit is like falling off the ferry in the night" and then the crazy bass filler... probably my favourite part of any arctic monkeys song :)
Oasis sucks!

I don't know why, but that kinda "solo" that starts at 4:14 of the song, reminds me to the ending solo of High Hopes :P
