  • I love that Joe rearranges the lyrics. He does it with London calling too. That's cause he doesnt give a fuck about his songs being organized. That's what's so great about punk. There's no organization to it. It's one big pile of anger and politics and spit and you throw it in the face of anyone who gives you shit. Viva la Clash and Viva la Punk!!!

  • Fuck the 5 people who disliked this video .

  • The Clash could see into the future with the things they wrote about in their lyrics that later became reality in the future in many things that have happened

  • Viva the clash, viva la primera ola del punk rock... y claro viva y arda Londres saludos...

  • im gonna be a total douche and say thumbs up if you are listening ti this in 1666

  • Joe would not love the fucking news. These people are only in it for the free shit. They don't care about a revolution. They just want a free Samsung TV. Joe would be weeping.

  • @Evan42881

In my view, taking what your are lacking off is still political...

  • I don't think London's burning with boredom tho

  • Who else has been listening to the pistols and clash, ever since they heard about the riots lol?

  • @maxmatt4 This is the first song I thought of when I heard about the riots!

Who says punk rock can't predict the future? :D

  • When they kick at the Queen's front door, how's she goona come? That's right, with her hands on her crown. And they're kickin' right now, mate......

  • @ashtweth Sorry, but I didn't understand a shit of what you *tried to say. Maybe you could train some sentence-writing techniques? Or try to read a book, please? That'll help.

  • The clash were Right!

  • It's amazing how many people don't know the difference between 'Irony' and 'Coincidence' !

  • Joe would fucking LOVE the news.

  • Funny i was listening to this song last night before bed and then i woke up and checked the news and to my amazement london was actually a blaze. How ironic is that.

  • the current event in London just proves that this band, The Clash, is still relevant

  • BUUUUURN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ロンドンは燃えてる。今も。しかし、何言ってるか分からない英語だ。(笑)

  • Even in 2011 The Clash are still the only band that matters.

  • Londres ardiendo.

  • 8-8-2011 LONDON'S BURNNG !

  • Burn london burn! happening at this very moment.

  • This is ironic presently - because it is burning now.

  • @artman46 Actually, it's the opposite of ironic. It's apt.

  • London's burning !!! ...actually.

  • @essertpitay There's Anarchy in the U.K.!! I hope John Lydon's mansion is safe!!

  • Well it is. Burning with boredom...and rioting. if you change Westway for Westfield it's the same.

  • who is the asshole who didnt like this song?

  • 1 guy has twitter!

  • Great version & sound! Thanks for posting.

  • @RVTYU One Clash performance could be used to provide power to the United States for several decades

  • @dkgdbr You read my mind!

  • UN FUCKING BELIABABLE! RAW POWER!

  • This is real Punk Rock!

  • o my god!!!!!!! great!!!!!!

  • This quality is wonderful. Looks like it could've been recorded yesterday.

  • this rocks!!!!! nice background information too!!!!!

  • I agree with the past comments.......but maybe a new era of rock dominance beckons ?? Nobody can deny that certain forms of rock have been making a bit of a resurgence of late..... be it minor, the resurgence still exists.

  • It is interesting how Rock music has a "reset" button that gets pressed every 10 years or so. Whenever Rock seems to be straying too far from it's pure form, a garage group comes along and says "Wait a minute, lets get back to basics." The Clash and the Sexpistols was a revolt against 70s disco and glam-rock. Similarly the Grunge movement was a revolt against 80s pop, romantic wave and Def-Leppard polished power ballads.

  • and what is doing now?

  • There are a few (very few) good bands on the niche market today. For quite some time boardroom managed, and MTV/VH1 promoted, Rap and Hip-Hop dominate the market.

Today the music industry simply wants to sell image (rather than actual music) and lucrative merchandising, rather than invest in creative artists and take risks and long-shots. Unfortunately that "reset button" has been locked up in corporate vaults.

  • LONDON IS BURING!!!

  • fucking good

  • Not Fuckin Good!

    Fuckin AWESOME!!!!!
