Actually, the tail motor quit during this flight because the ESC on the tail was set to shut down at 8.4 volts. The main motor's ESC was set to hold 9 volts by cutting power to the main motor. Removed and reprogrammed Tail ESC and it worked for two more flights. THEN THE TAIL MOTOR QUIT AND CRASHED THE HELI! I've since gone to brushless outrunner with direct drive GWS 4530 prop and it works great.

Your tail motor is probably locked in too tight to your tail motor gear, it should soin pretty easy.
