To me, this is the best Resident Evil game. It took what RE2 did and took it to another level by adding decisions that affect the outcome. Not to mention, it has the best villain RE has (besides Wesker)- Nemesis.

@S0ryiu with the exception of the reloading tool, l don't think it was that heavily focused on action. If you play RE3 on Easy mode, then you can just go trigger happy but on Hard mode you really had to save and resort your supplies. Plus RE3 is really invested in a city invested zombie apocalypse, so logically their would be more action sequences (fuel barrels, gas station etc).

@Lpoliva Birkin was just as great as Nemesis. I still shitting in my pants from his 3rd form. But I have to agree that Nemmy was more terrifyin', he came after you all the time (except for save rooms)

RE3 is very underrated, but it's a great game. The only thing was irritated me in the third episode was the reloading tool - it was unnecessary, but besides it, RE3 is one of my favorite games even today, just prefer 2 over it - Leon & Claire are the perfect duo in my opinion.

RE3 and RE2 were the best by far. Don't look at the graphics but the story and characters. This had the true survivor horror theme which RE 4 and 5 lacked, they are good games but let's be honest they lack it.

You can play the original PS1 RE 1,2,3 on the PS1(obviously), PS2, and the 40 and 60 gig PS3's. There is a remake of the first RE, and a re-release of RE 2 on the Gamecube. You can also get RE 1,2, and 3 on the PC.
